With a pair of scissors in hand....I BC'D

Friday, July 9th, I was at work just looking at my hair in the mirror. I was just not happy with the ugly relaxed ends. I tried everything for a cute twist out, but I guess my hair was just too damaged to look decent. (from my before pic you won't be able to really tell, because I mixed some weave in to hide some defects). But my roots were gorgeous. So I decided when I got home I was going to just cut off the relaxed ends.

So home from work, I got comfortable, went into the bathroom and grabbed my shears, took a big handful of hair and cut......*exhale*. And I continued on through the rest of my hair. After transitioning for 5 months, it was time. I can actually say that I was pleased with the out-come and I got a lot of compliments on how beautiful I looked.

But I do have to say that I wasn't happy with the length. I went from so much length of hair to about and inch and a half. I like to do many, many things with my hair. So to keep me patient with the growth of my hair I got me some micro-braids on Saturday afternoon. So I'm hoping to get a least another inch or so of growth over the next 2 -3 months the micros are in.
