I wasn't consistant with my usage, but I saw results. So I believe those who use it every day and say they saw great results. You can use it on your temples every day. No, there isn't a tingling feeling like you would get with peppermint or tea trea oil.

The crown is the top of your head. It doesn't matter where you use it.

Hey ladies,

Sine co is so sticky, how would you suggest applying it to the hair? I recently bought some and, like an idiot, I tried to apply it with my hand STRAIGHT from the bottle. Can you say instant ripping??!! Needless to say, I've been using an applicator bottle to apply it to my scalp but I'm still unsure about my edges. I suppose I could just use the applicator too but I'm wondering if anyone has any creative ideas. P.s. I generally have some spots in my head that are ALWAYS itchy, no matter what I do. The co has gotten rid of the itching comletely! I want to try jbco too but I'm committing myself to only buy some after I've finished my bottle of co. Sigh, we'll see.

So my family is Jamaican and yes every house has a bottle of black castor oil. When I was younger my mother used to rub the oil into my scalp paying attention to my edges. That stuff stinks, but I guess it worked. Scientifically, I don't know if made my hair grow in more or any softer but I know I don't have bald spots. Now I use it in my deep conditioner. I would love to use it as sealer for my ends but it's too sticky and the smell if irritating.
