Thanks everyone, I'll try to answer everyone's questions in this response. This is a twist out using Elasta Q's new leave in formula (Be back with the name) shea butter and coconut oil. I washed with Hello Hydration by HE, put in my leave in and twisted overnight with the shea butter mix. Here is what I did differently though with my twists, I plaited the hair to start and then twisted down to the end, this made the world of difference to me because I had no frizz at all...I mean NONE!!! As far as a big chop goes, I did not bc, I gradually cut off my ends each week, I transitioned for seven months and each week flexi-rodded my hair until finally I got tired of dealing with the two textures and by November I was 100% natural. The pic in my avatar is about two weeks of growth being all natural. My last relaxer was Jan 2009. Each day I love my hair even more!!! I hope I covered everything, I am updating my fotki today with more pics and a revised hair regimen
