Best Daily Moisturizer?

Now that the weather is warmer, I'm returning to my signature braidout, as seen in my profile pic. I need something to moisturize my hair at night if it's feeling dry. I'm looking for a light lotion or cream type product, not a spray. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I use,occasionally, Qhemet Biologics Amla & Olive Heavy Cream, Jane Carter Nourish & Shine, or shea butter (now that I've learned these are not a moisturizer but sealants).

@ Moni - I like Karen's Body Beautiful Hair Milk (lotion like) and Hair Cream (fluffy cream). They are both really light.

I have been using a coconut/shea butter mix for the braidouts at night.

I have Kemi-Oyl Conditioning Spray and Care Free Curl Instant Moisturizer. I like the Care Free Curl better but they have both been working well.

Carol's Daugter hair milk and coconut oil work for me.

Thanks to everyone for their replies. I think I'm gonna try Carol's Daughter Hair Milk for now, since I can buy it on the ground at Sephora and use my VIB 15% discount. I'm also gonna get some QB burdock root butter cream when they have the sale next month.

They have Carol's Daughter products in TJ Maxx now! Check 'em out! I found Healthy Hair Butter, Loc Butter, Sea Moss Shampoo, body scrub (purchased all of these), and bath oil!!! CHEAP, too! i.e., the HHB was $4.99!!!

I use a quarter size amount of my organic shea butter mix rubbed in my hands and applied to my hair in the morning and the evening. My hair sucks up the mix. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

@Marcy- I saw that at Target last week. Didn't realize it was for hair! Dang it! I thought it was a shower/bath wash. Going back in today so maybe???

yeah me too....i use a little oil to refluff or moisturize in the mornings sometimes as well...

Yeah they have a whole bunch of products for hair and body, I'm thinking bout trying some of the body washes myself

Make sure you read the label. The one you saw may have actually been for body because they have body washes in the same flavors. I have a body wash, a lotion, and the DT so far and love all three!

I second that!! I just went to the Karen's Body Beautiful store in Brooklyn, NY and purchased the Creamy Coco Mango hair milk. Its pretty much a light lotion that comes in 4 scents (they're all AMAZING!!). And it moisturizes without being heavy or greasy....it's just PERFECT! BUT be prepared to pay a pretty penny b/c an 8oz bottle is a whopping $16 (but its sooo worth it). The hair cream is also amazing, but a lot thicker than the hair milk (its a whipped cream consistency). If you don't live in NY and you can't go to the store to buy it (which I would recommend so that you avoid shipping & handling charges) you can always buy it online.
