MOISTURE; Should it be used daily

I just wanted to know the thoughts of the ladies here on the forum. Should you moisturize your hair daily with water(mixed w/other products) or some other moisturizing product?

Some people do. I don't. I try to do it maybe every other day. It really just depends on your hair and how quickly or slowly it absorbs moisture. You will know if your hair needs to be remoisturized. It will feel very dry to the touch.

it depends on your hair my hair is like a sponge it absorbs moisture no matter how much or how often so i spritz my hair with water at least once a day sometimes twice and i seal with shea butter or some oil every other day

i have 4 c hair and my hair stays moisturized for at least a week when in twists or braids....
So it really depends...

oh....and i don't spray anything or add anything in between "styling sessions" which is once a week...

I have been using UFD Extra Butter & bought some Darcy Botanicals Avocado & Wild Plum Twisting cream to use between washing I never thought about spritzing my hair with water inbetween washes but may do so now

I use Quemet Biologics Alma and Olive heavy cream....
That thing is the Bomb! never fails...

I moisturize when my hair needs it. It doesnt need it every day. I usually have to moisturize after styling on wash day maybe twice during the week. I usually wash my hair once a week.

I use my aloe spritzer I got from Butters n Bars and seal with oil.

Oh...sorry i keep coming back...(i'm studying )...
I also wash my hair every 2 to 3 weeks....

I personally think that helps! but that's just MOI.....

I generally do a light spritz each morning... I use 50/50 aloe vera juice/water mix. Water alone dries my hair.

I decided to buy a cream today (Darcy botanicals) because I really dont want to wet hair daily or every other day I havent made up my mind yet

My hair needs moisture pretty much eryday. I wet it in the shower ery morning and spray with EVOO/Water mixture before I put my styling product in. Stays nice and hydrated and shiny.

TLog is it cold where you are Does your hair dry fast My hair is thick & takes about an 1 or more to dry completely so thats why I dont want to wet it but I am still thinking about it

I'm in San Diego so that helps a lot.

And I leave the house almost everyday with my hair wet. It dries in about an hour.

Ok I understand why you are moisturizing the way you are I am in NC & its extremely cold here
