Last night I moisturized and sealed my ends then pinned them up in two pony's - one on each side. The twists were beginning to get frizzy...

This morning when I took off my durag they looked like fresh twists. It's amazing what a little moisture will do. I know I owe you all pics - they are coming, I promise.

So I left my hair in the two pony's and just pinned them back in a bun. I really like it. This might be a new staple style for when I do two strand twists.

Have a great day ladies - I leave work in two hours and will be spending the remainder of the day on my last paper for this quarter.

So, you refresh your twist by mosturizing, sealing and pinning/tying them down? I must try this on my TWA. It is getting frizzy and I really want to get more time from them.

Yes, and I wasn't even attempting to refresh them this time because I am taking them out in a day or two.

That is great to know, I'll try it tonight and see if it works. Actually I thought about tying my hair down earlier this week but was afraid it would smash my twist.

Before I tie them down I twist them up in sections and clip/pin into place (last night I just did 2, I will do four at the most). This keeps them rounded and prevents them from flattening when tied down.

The twists I am wearing this week - I will be taking them out tomorrow for what I hope to be an awesome twist out

The pic above in the red shirt is the result of four plaits that I put in my hair to ease the washing process. Once dried this was the outcome. I love the sheen my hair has in that pic - that was taken of hair with no product. I am conducting an experiment. I am going to try it a few more times just to make sure the results are the same and then I will post what I tried.

I am finally DONE with my papers so as treat to myself, I am going to the BSS and have a little fun I won't get to out of hand...maybe some accessories for the weekends when I wear my hair out.

Most the time they are accidents other times I look to loc styles for inspirations. Twists can do some of the same cute styles that some people do with their locs
