when styling i hate....

So its 8-something in the am and I'm sitting under a hooded dryer, trying to get the hair i washed last night to be dry. I was so pist this morning when i woke up to wet hair!
I know that this and other annoyances must happen to you guys as well when or after styling. Here's a chance to vent.. What do you hate that happens when or after styling?

I feel you! I hate when I've been too heavy-handed with a new product and I have to wash my hair and start over again.

I hate it when it takes so long to style that my arms hurt.

i agree with JackieJ205.. two strand twist take a LONG time for me to too.. and my arms kill me after a while. lol

@elle - I just wanted to say that ur hair looks BEAUTIFUL in your avatar! How'd u do that?

I hate both of those things. I have so much hair and it is so thick that it causes both of those problems. My mom always say don't complain cause that means you will never be bald [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] but it does cause some inconvience at times.

I hate when I wake up in the morning to the mark on my forehead from the elastic band on my satin bonnet! grrr...

I agree with @elleeccentric, I absolutely hate it when my hair isn't dry! Especially if Im getting ready to go somewhere! And what really urks me is if I wash and twist my hair early in the a.m., to go somewhere later that same evening, and its STILL not dry...URGHHHH! Especially after I've sat underneath the dryer for some hours to speed up the drying process! (My ends take forever to get dry!)

I think the drying part is the worst for me! Can't think of anything else right now, but Im sure there are more! LOL!

Aww thanks creolelady... I wish i could style my hair myself like that.lol My cousin did it for me. Its just flat twists with the middle rolled up into the front.
Im with JackieJ with teh twisting thing too. I did some 2 strand twists last night and my arms were KILLING me!

my hair takes FOREVER to dry. Since its winter i have to make sure its dry before I take the twists or bantuu knots out so its really annoying. I have to save the bantu knots for summer though

I hate when you try a new product combo and your hair comes out nothing like it usually does, even though it's the same style you've been doing! How in the world do some products make your hair react a certain way and others do the exact opposite?

I absolutely hate detangling and the length of time it takes to braid/twist my hair...I honestly can't decide which one I hate more. I wash in sections and everything but its still a pain. I gave up on air drying a week and a half ago (and I only big chopped two weeks ago lol).

Great name. I am with you on the drying time. Some other issues are (1) the whiteness (I know it subside after the hair dries) it is so frustrating. Especially when you don't have time to wait for it to subside and got to walk out side looking like you have shampoo residue left in your hair...UGH [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] !!!! (2) the best products (Ecostyler Olive Oil Styling Gel...etc) leaves the hair hard...UGH [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] !!! Even if you use a moisture sealer.

Wet hair is hine with me. Drying time is ok with me too. It's the flat hair that bugs the stuffing outta me. If I could just get some more shrinkage for more volume....le sigh....
