First, I love the bun! I really do.

Second, what happened with your hair is the exact reason that I do not finger comb only. I detangle with almost every styling session. I get the best detangled buns when I start them in the shower. I make my pony under running water and then the rest is a breeze.

So today was my first day back in the gym since this summer and I decided to take a class called body pump and let's just say it showed how out of shape I am that class did a number on me big time. It makes me feel pretty bad but in hair news I just pulled my hair into a messy bun cause I was too lazy last nite to re-braid sooo that's exactly what I'm doing tonight will post pics later after the take down.

That is my hair motto!! I noticed that a lot of the women with beautiful hair tend to do their own thing and not follow the masses or latest trends.

@Tia there is so much info on natural hair available that I didn't know in the beginning of my journal at one time I felt like I was in a whirlwind but I'm learning slowly but surely just take it one step at a time & try to keep it simple.

In hair news my dry braid out was such a hit today even though the first comment I heard was from my bf saying "what happen u had a fight wit a comb and brush" but u know what that didn't touch my mood cause I knew I was fierce lol but I got compliments all day. The thing about my hair is there is no need to fluff cause it gets bigger as the day goes on ;-). Will post pics later cause my dad took his laptop.

@Bholmes I totally agree I will say that being natural has totally allowed me to embrace myself regardless of what someone else may think.

So today I went to a big natural hair forum and it was fantastic. Seeing all the different styles, vendors, and having ppl that are just like me. Also there were men there answering questions about how they feel about natural hair women. So I am still rocking my b/o and I love love love it. It doesn't take a lot of time to do and the results are fab. So here are the pics I promised

Nothing new in hair news still got my b/o. I went to a health store today and I have a question...when you get aloe vera gel is it the dietary kind or the jelly? Also have any of you used Jason or Nature's Gate products? And if you have what did you think?

@bholmes girl no i have been slacking lately so I have been wearing in styles where it isn't all out.
But I haven't done anything new cause I know my hair isn't gonna be dry so it's just gonna be a waste. When I went shopping yesterday I also looked at some hair dryers but they all were a little much for my pocket right now. I really want to do a Bantu knot really or a roller set but there is no way to achieve these styles else I have at least 12+ hrs to dry and that's on damp hair....ugh so Im kind of stuck right now but I'm on my way to the gym for kick box class.
