Ok I know I have been MIA the past couple of days but the boss has been on a rampage at work lately and that is usually when I post . So today was my first day in Zumba class and yes I Loved it. In hair news I have been having some really good hair days lately but my camara is full to compacity that i'm forced to use my cell so if I can figure out how to get them from my phone to here we are in business ladies. Last nite I put my hair into some twist they are bigger then the last ones I did that I rocked for a month and it only took me 3hrs . That is major progress for me. I plan on rocking these for a wk to wk and a half. So i'm thinking since my hair is out of commission that this is the perfect time to step my hair accessory game up any ideas where I should go ladies?(cheap) lol Also I was planning on doing a bantu knot out and guess what? When I opened the dryer it was broken so I had to give it back to my co-worker to get it exchanged. Oh yeah I bought her some flowers to show my appreciation. So the boss is off all this wk so I will be back on my posting .

I, too am on the same hunt. Bunning daily means accessorizing is necessary for me to not get bored. Following tia's example of styling on the weekend is helping with the boredom as well.

Glad you're back!!! I'm blessed I can post from work, but I think I'll need to slack off in that arena so I can get more work done!!

Bigger twist and it took 3hrs!!! WOW that equates to a lot of hair!! Not sure what type of phone you have, but you can e-mail the pictures to yourself, save it to your computer and post your pictures here!!

I'm glad you loved Zumba. I have so much fun in class, I was actually sad that we didn't have class this week. So I will be playing "Just Dance" on the Wii...that game is a serious workout.

I am looking to step up my accessory game also. I picked up a few items at the BSS the other week but I want more unique items.

Well they aren't that big really I'm started big but changed it cause i didn't like them . I am going to try to upload the pics today.

Afternoon Ladies

Ok I totally appreciate wednesdays for multiple reasons.
1. It means the work week is half way over yay!
2. It is our slowest and calmest(if thats a word) day in the office.
3. We get catered breakfast and lunch

Seriously though it is the little pleasure that make me smile everyday cause I have been through a whole lot for a min. Moving on in hair news I still have my twist in and I am already bored so if I don't go to yoga class today I will definitely be hitting up some stores for accessories. Also I saw in Bholmes thread someone's fotki that did some very creative things with her twist. The thing is I'm not very creative when it comes to hair but hey it can't hurt to try. I also might take a look at prettydimples videos cause she gives step by step instructions.(which I need) Anyways I will post some pics today finally figured out my problem.

Hope you ladies are enjoying your wk so far and remember no matter what is going on always try to find something postive everyday......

@ Tia and KNH i just used simple Bobby pins mostly at the base

@bhomles blue & purple they r my favorite colors and they both represent two things that affect me significantly

Today it was cold ugh so that means I was ache but no stress cause I made it through... The accessories I bought yesterday needs a little sumthing sumthing so Im going to go to the craft store this weekend and see what I come up with. Today I thought about how this contest will be over this month
Since I started late I have yet to reach my goal of why I started and also I really enjoy seeing what everyone has going because
1 it keeps me motivated
2 gives me ideas
3 It is so much fun

So what do you ladies plan on doing once it's over?

I plan on asking Nikki not to close the thread! LOL I really would love to continue posting, for all the reasons you mentioned above

IT'S THE WEEKEND BABY

I am so happy it is the weekend cause that means I can go shopping yay. In hair news I am still rocking my twist and they are already fuzzy at the top. But I'm determined to leave these bad boys in until next sunday cause I have a dance gig and I will to a t/o frohawk sweet so excited . I felt so good after I got off today that I took pics of my twist finally .
