Hair Types

Post by RissaRae on 15th January 2010, 10:44 am

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Ok guys I have been a Natural Girl for 7 years off and on. I am a mother to my 9 month old Baby girl Corigan Rae and expecting my Baby boy April 22nd! For me to have been a Natural for so long its a shame that I have to ask this but, how do you determine your "Hair Type"? I am new to the Forum and I'm reading a lot of CG's post that have their hair type posted. Help me out ladies!

The Coil Review

This website is my other staple in learning more about natural hair. The link above is an excellent breakdown in the different hair types. Although since I'm still transitioning I'm finding it difficult to discern my hair type. I'm thinking it's in the 3c - 4a - b range but I probably won't know for sure until I bc.

You can also check ou livecurlylivefree online. She explains three hair characteristics to help you achieve and maintain healthy hair. When I remember to follow the site's suggestions, I have good hair days. The site was established by Curly Nikki's Curl Whisperer, Tiffany Anderson.
