The twists in a bun looked very professional, and I love styling my twists so now when my hair gets longer I have a lot of styles to steal...I mean, use. I think my twists look childish hanging in my face so I have to put them up, don't know if you experience the same thing, I think yours looks cute.
I also love your highlights, seeing all these colors makes me want to get some but I'm still scared!
I hope your interview went well too, have a good day!
Believe me, I was PETRIFIED!!!! I've never done anything like this before, but they make these kits very easy to use. I also felt a little at ease doing it because I've finally established a routine that works well for me. Dryness wasn't an issue for me before, and even with the color, it still isn't (of course, it's only been a couple of days... lol)

Hmmm, well that helps a little bit to know you were a little uneasy too lol. And it's nice to hear that it working out well for you as far as dryness.
Maybe I should get a little more comfy with my own routine before I really think about doing it. I mean i did it with a relaxer (my stylist put it in) so really, natural hair should be easier right?

Re: The Flexirod Adventures!
Alright ladies, here's the rundown:
As promised to my hubby, I have flat ironed for my anniversary (which is SUNDAY!!!). While surfing youtube, I found Westndnian's method for flat ironing. After washing, she DC's and does so overnight. She uses the Megasilk moisturizing conditioner stuff, but I didn't have that. So I made my own Frankenstein concoction:
HEHH
YTC
1 tbsp of QB AOHC
1 tbsp AVJ
some cheapie condish I had (I think it was Suave) to make enough to totally saturate my hair
I applied it using her Relaxer method (as if you were applying it to virgin hair), baggied, and DC'd overnight...
This morning, I showered and rinsed the conditioner out. MAN my hair felt good!!! I plopped while watching The View, then got ready to blow dry...
In small sections, I added my leave-in, detangled using my Denman, and spritzed with the Megasilk heat protectant. After blowdrying each section, I used just a dab of QB AOHC, specifically for my ends. Hence, the huge, soft, and fluffy blow out!!!
Then using my 1" flat iron, I iron small, one inch sections, spraying with the heat protectant again to be safe. I used the highest heat setting (400 on my flat iron I know but I only passed through each section twice).
Here are the results:
It looks even better in person.... and my hair is so soft!!!!!
Hubby will be excited, I'm sure

LOL, yes Lynnie--thanks, because I totally jacked up her name!!!
Definitely DC overnight. I've only flat ironed one other time, and my hair is much more smooth and sleek as a result!!!!
Hopefully, this will mean a 2-3 week styling break for me...

Re: The Flexirod Adventures!
Thanks, but I'll be honest: I'm quite bored...
Is it wrong that after 3 hours of work I want to go dunk my head in water already???
I think I'll do a flat twist out on it tonight to give it a bit more body...

What leave in did you use? I watched a few YT videos and most people used Aphrogee's leave in.
