When and When not to Comb Empty When and When not to Comb

Is it better to comb the hair when wet with conditioner or before washing your hair when its dry? Because Ive been seeing mixed answers on different sites concerning this.

I can't get a comb thru my hair when it's dry (lol) so I always comb when my hair is loaded with water and conditioner. I'm still really gentle though because I don't want to pull my hair out or experience breakage.

If I just must use a comb, I only do it on wet hair full of oil or conditioner. I mostly use my hands now though.

Im with Ambitious..I mostly use my hands to comb through my hair now BUT when i do comb through it I have to do it on wet hair because when my hair is dry its way to thick for a comb to go through
