Re: .:Eden:. Curly Q Twist Out
Ok Ladies, here are the pics. I did a mirror photoshoot for you all LOL. The braids come to about APL. I have a tiny section in the middle that needs to be done. But, I'll wait until wednesday evening I'm beat. I love the outcome! It took me a whole week to do!!!!! OMG, but it was worth it. I plan to keep this in for one month (Feb 20 or maybe for Valentine's Day ), give my hair a 2 week rest then do another protective style for a month. This holds moisture very well, so I don't expect dryness, probably on my scalp though.
I'm going to spray my hair with my african royale braid spray and oil my scalp with coconut oil every day. I'm not sure if I'm going to cowash every week, maybe every 2. I want to deep condition when I do my cowash. And I will redo the edges as I see fit. Enjoy!

Thanks Twin!! I have a big head and a lot of hair per square inch LOL. So, I doubt it'll take you as long if you did it yourself. A lot of people prefer this over synthetic hair, because it holds up a lot better. Anyhoo, I'm please with the outcome.

After watching Dontuwishuknu's Easy Gel Nails! video, I was tempted to try it. I usually get my nails done (just an overlay) at the salon 2-3 times a month, and I wanted to kick the habit. A ladies hands should always look well...lady like, so I had to figure out something since my hands were looking like busted feet literally (no jk ). I used the same Light-Less Gel Kit (Sallys), but I bought Ibd's French Crystal Tips (Sallys). The directions on the kit were self explanatory, however I didn't add the nail polish. My nails looked fine without it.
I must say they turned out pretty nice. Although I did apply a little too much gel so it was slidding and I had to file it off when I was finished. If you happen to try this I must warn you that after you apply the gel cure spray and perhaps may want a second coating of gel for extra shine. For some reason your nails get hot, but if you shake your finger it cools down. Weird.

Thanks, and I would so do your hair. We could sit and listen to Da Truth the whole time. LOL, a friend of mine was saying why in the world are these Africans charging us $200+ to do these styles when you can do them yourself.

Definitely! I make sure I have my adapter, so I can hook my MP3 to the stereo. So much better than CD's.
