My Twist Out with Kinky Curly
Dry hair, spritz with water, Garnier leave in, olive oil and jojoba oil to seal, and then applied Kinky Curly to twist. Duck bills in my hair to train in to lay down, until I go out! :-) My hair is not crunchy at all.

Very nice! High five! Girl, you can tweak that KCCC like I do. As long as I use oil, I can mix it with anything. Using oils help KCCC provide a very soft hold as you so lovely demonstrated.

Re: My Twist Out with Kinky Curly
Someone was just telling mw about this product for a twist out instead of a wash and go... i love it!!
Re: My Twist Out with Kinky Curly
Your hair looks fab!
Interesting, I was tried a gel last week also. I got sick of puffy roots so I figured let me try a gel. I used Kiss My Face Upper Management gel and I got the most beautiful twist. My roots weren't puffy except in the crown. Dang that crown. No matter how hard I tried it was puffy.
FYI - I had done a WNG with Curls Whipped Cream earlier that day. I can only get one day hair out it. I didn't want to waste the product that was in my hair, so I rewet my hair and used a tiny bit of the Kiss My Face gel. It was gorgeous. I did it on Wednesday and it's just gotten puffy today. Progress.

Re: My Twist Out with Kinky Curly
I will have to try KCCC again, it didn't do wonders with my TWA but four months since BC I'm willing to give KCCC another try. I didn't use any oils either and my TWA was extra crunchy. Kimc thanks!

Re: My Twist Out with Kinky Curly
i got my first jar of kccc on couple weeks ago.. since i live in finland and they dont sell it here (.. dont sell anything else either for black hair..) i had to order it from US. I was happy, because it worked for my hair. I've been using it on for twists and loving the results. I don't apply product too much on my hair, so i don't get the crunchy feeling. (also i wanted that stuff to last longer:) ) Still havent try it for wash and go. I used to be big friend of that style, but lately i've preferred twist out on my hair. Still learning how to do it. im a bit clumsy doing flat braids, twists... heh.

Re: My Twist Out with Kinky Curly
KCCC works! (Sorry I don't have pics)
I was given a third of a jar of KCCC. I did my regular Sunday hair routine- wash w/Giovanni 50/50 moisture balance clarifying shampoo; condition with VO5 mango protein conditioner; rise thoroughly; apply Giovanni light weightless moisture leave in conditioner and seal with oil.
On damp hair I proceeded to do two-strand twists using KCCC (did about 25 total twists). Twists were in all day/night.
Today I removed the twist and was truly discouraged! My hair looked gray and I had serious white flecks EVERY WHERE. Not white gel balls but white flecks- as if I have some SERIOUS dandruff.
Not to waste a great twist out I moisturized 'Ingrid' (my hair) with my aloe/water mix.
Lawd Have Mercy! I have great curls! Curls!!! I've never had curls with this much DEFINITION! And I don't have anymore white flecks! Well at least they can't be seen. I will use this product again. For sure!
I was looking at purchasing DB and Bee Mine products but I'm going to hold off on those brands. Right now I'm sold on KCCC. SOLD. KCCC will be my first 'product splurge'.
It has been three hours and my hair is soft NOT crunchy and I have no flecks. I wonder how 2 day hair will look.

Targe' needs to get with it and stop selling that little 8 ounce jar and upgrade to the 16 ounce!

Great work! I don't use KCCC conventionally either. It actually works best for me on dry hair so I wont have the jheri curl look. (and I use way less)
