Hair Growth Challenge 2011

Well, me & C'Marie have in kinky twists and our growth is about 1/2 inch

Well I've grown an inch .. not much, but I'm proud ! loll
I've been doing braid outs, bantu knot outs (staple hair style) and rowing my hair down (will post pictures)
I had put in afro kinky twists for about two weeks
I've been using HE Hello Hydration Shampoo and Conditioner
Palmer's Hair Mask DC after wash and condition
EVOO when styling:)
Sof'n'free leave in treatment
I mixed my conditioner, evoo and water as a moisturizer and softner works pretty good and smells awesome !!
Oh and the Cantu Shea Butter it works, but since I'm transitioning, I won't get full affects of it.

Wow, that's great and cute hairstyles. I'll have to post pics of my kinky twists (finally will get to take them down in 2 weeks)

My twists in a sorta styled ponytail.

I've still been exercising, & taking biotin and omega 3 vitamins. I've been using mixtures of oil for my scalp(EVOO, EVCO, vitamin e oil, grapeseed) and been cleaning my scalp with witch hazel. I've also been massaging my scalp.
Not to much to do, but can't wait until the beta convention so afterwards I can take these down. They're a great protective style but the r sooooo itchy!

This is a month later. Got some growth!

My hair has grown about 1/2 an inch too. I've still been exercising but only 3 times a week sadly (busy schedule). My intake on water is soooooooooo much. That's almost like all I drink now but every now & then I'll have fruit punch or orange juice. I still oil my hair every 2-3 days w/ wild growth hair oil, bit I've cut off don't-b-bald (I still need 2 go 2 the store to get olive oil & other supplies :/). Sadly I can't co-wash every 2-3 days cause 1. I have bad timing 2. It's too cold & my mom will throw a fit & make a big speech about getting sick 3. Everybody around me is getting sick & I get sick too easily. So all of that leaves me to co-washing my hair on the weekends. Sorry for making this sooooo long :/.

My hair has grown about 1/2 an inch. I don't have any pics though... In my opinion it looks the same, due to my TREMENDOUS shrinkage lol. So, now my current length is at 3.5 inches. The styles I've been doing faithfully are the wash 'n go and coil outs, and I did m first blow-out two weeks ago. My routine hasn't really changed much either, I wash and deep condition once a week, and I oil my scalp with coconut oil every other week. As far as supplements go, I still take a biotin everyday, and I am constantly drinking water. .

Great, we're trying to get back on drinking plenty of water, too. Been taking biotin and won't officially see our hair growth until we take down our kinky twists this weekend.
