Rosa Park rolls is looking pretty darn good.
You and I may be doing the BC around the same time.
@KNH - when you get your hair shaped - what is the stylist actually doing? I'm thinking of doing my BC myself if I can't find a decent stylist to my liking.
Girl lets do it together then. March 2010. You and me! BC buddies...lol

This 1 pic above and all the rest below is my hair today(3rd day curls). I feel the older it gets the looser the curls becomes and the better it looks. But I see some frizz coming up now.

I think I may have to swip the other side up into a frohawk tomorrow to control that frizz.
Very beautiful hair! congrats on your transition!
Thanks MC

Your son is a cutie pie.
I enjoyed the one spinning class I did a couple of years ago. My gym offers it, and I need to do it--burn more calories .
I am glad you are liking the strong tea spritz. It can save a day when you don't have time to co-wash.
You did a great job with the variation Rosa Parks roll.
I look forward to see you after the BC. You are going to look fab!

"May my meditation be pleasing to him, as I rejoice in the LORD."
Psalms 104:34
Good Wednesday morning dolls:
My hair is under a hat today and was all day yesterday. I sprayed my strong tea/oil mix and grabbed and twisted then bantu knotted. Put on a satin bonnet and a hat and keep it movin'.....lol.
Later, I plan to take it out and see what it looks like, but I am not expecting much.
When I wet my hair and was twisting, I liked what I saw. Nice wavy, curly hair. I was so excited, I almost grabbed the scissors...lol , no seriously . But I knew it was not the right time, I had too much to do yesterday and today.
My first parent teacher meeting went very well. Everything the teachers said my husband and I agreed with because we see it demonstrated at home. Our son is so independent and very verbal about it. But the teachers reassured us that he is a normal 3 and half yr old...lol.
I need to make a trip to the Indian store today or tomorrow. I need the goods... . I have much on my list to purchase and it's fabulous because I probably wont spend more than 40 or 50 dollars and it will last like 4months or even longer. I need to henna this week. I have also joined with TIA and the other naturalistas on the castor oil challenge. So I need a fresh bottle of that. I am excited about this challenge because I love castor oil in EVOO. Applying castor oil to my edges was great too. Nice growth. The challenge is from Feb 1 to April 1 (2 months), so I am expecting more than 1 inch of growth. I have to oil my scalp with the castor oil by itself or in my favorite carrier oil (EVOO) and appy to preferrable a clean scalp twice a week. When I purchase the oil, I will post it for all to see.
I also plan to go to the gym today for a spin or Zumba class, we will see how that goes.
Ok dolls have a HAPPY HUMP DAY!!!!

I LOVE Indian stores. You have a list so that should help you in not overspending. Their prices are quite reasonable so $40 should go a long way.
Re: IntelligentBeauty;-)
Do the Zumba class!!! It's soooo much fun. Looking forward to the bantu knot out!

@Lynn, I wanted to get this Jamaican castor oil I see alot of curlistas have. But I went to the Indian store and they had refined castor oil. So I just got that.
