Mine is short still. I'll keep that in mind and hold off from buying a large bottle..

I'm claiming this will work, Chocolatediva. Looking at the consistency, I think it may be a winner for me.

Uncle Funky's Daughter will announce their sale intentions on their website. They said they were not sure if they will have a Black Friday/CyberMonday or both. But, they would def have something.

Hairrogant.com will have a Black Friday sale and the details will be sent to all who sign up for their newsletter. Also, they said if someone has a specific Anita Grant product that is not on their site, let them know and they will see if they can get it with their next order. Also, if you want a different size than is avail at their site, they will see if they can order from Anita.

By all means, don't forget Amazon(starting 11/22 and different items throughout the wk) and Overstock on BF and CM. They always have sales and they carry hair care products. TBC...

LaToya, I have so much "swap" stuff that I don't know when I will get to try it all. However, there are just a small number of items on my list and then I am DONE. I am close to having my complete regimen established for the fall/winter. Just a little more work on treatments! (Then I can keep most of my money) LOL

Well I am interested in the Qhemet's Egyptian Wheatgrass Cleansing Tea, and the Moringa Tree Conditioning Ghee because I already have the creams.

I would like to try the Oyin Frank juice thingie, and the hemp conditioner. I definitely have to try the Darcy botanicals creams and butters.

I just ordered some Donna Marie products, because I heard the Mira Curl Gelly is great for wash and go styling on dry hair, which is awesome

What are the products you are looking for and why?

Jeanlouis, you know really I have to regroup. I have tonsssssssssss of swap items now. I want to dabble in some different oils. I have had my eye on:

QB Moringa and Castor oil - Multi-tasking oil for scalp and skin (antioxidant/healing properties)

DB - Deep condish- I want 1 more another for my rotation (the ingredients cover all spectrums (cleansing/conditioning)

Oyin Honey Hemp - I'd like 1 more leave-in. I do my twists/braids/plaits with leave-in. I am too heavy handed for the butters and my hair seems to prefer the condish consistency products.

Aloe Vera butter - My hair loves all things aloe. Again, I want to use this for my hair and my skin (esp. face and legs)

Avocado butter- ditto the other butter

Rhassoul clay - I love clarifying my hair/face/feet. The clays are da bomb!

Yeah I have to narrow, I need to get a grip on what my hair likes (love u mentioned on the other thread) I couldnt answer because I really dont know. I use too many products

Like for instance I use Aloe gel, but infused with coconut, jojoba, and evoo. U see my point? Does my hair appreciate one, all or a few of these ingredients?
When I use UFD or Qhemets my hair responds favorably. But what in it does my hair love? So I must not go crazy this BF but just maybe check out some sample sizes, like the Oyin's greg juice, and the Darcy's. U feel me?

I have a various curious nature and I like nice smells. I have a sample of Afroveda cocolatte moisture mask. I got it at Sage a few wks ago b/c it smells divine. How ridiculous is that? I don't need that. So, I am going to find a use for everything I currently have and hopefully, those items above will work out. After that, I am staying on the straight and narrow

The Shikakai oil too.

Yeah I've tried it (lol) but not since I was relaxed. Just the fact that coconut and castor oil are so far up on the ingredients list makes me think that it'll be good on natural hair, but let me know how you like it.

Still narrowing down oils. Thinking about Hairveda's Vatika Frosting. Seems like a comparable, healthier alternative to Dabur Vatika Oil. On her site, she mentioned doing a conditioning oil treatment 3 times a week. For any who have used this, will I need to wash it out each time, or is the "oily/greasy level low enough that washing shouldn't be a must? Too cold these days to wash my hair 3 times a wk. Well, I have been wanting to try the Honey Hemp b/c I want another leave-in and I like to use them for my braids/twists/plaits. We will see tomorrow when they give the details of their BF sale. I was disappointed with the extent of the Hairveda sale. I have been eying Darcy's deep condish too. Again, when she announces her sale, I will go from there. I decided to go to Houston for Thanksgiving, so I might go to Uncle Funky's Daughter. I will def go to "Little Indian" and stock up on some of the ayurvedics.

@ Natnola...Yes if you go to Houston, get the Uncle Funky's. I love it and you will too. Curls pop...great ingredients..

This post was for last year BF sale. The date has 2009. Just not sure if its the same every year. Would be nice though.
