I can't be the only one who thought that K. Porter kiss was weird. I mean, that kid is 18. I'm almost 17 and cannot imagine kissing either one of my parents on the lips haha I used to, but after like 8, it's not cute to me lol, idk.

Love the pin up! That is yet another in the long list of reasons I love doing twists! Just a few pins and you have a whole new style! Have a great 'Me Day'. I'm right there with you on the bra sitch. Having matching sets makes me feel like I got it together, sexy, and sophisticated. But umm at this moment I don't have any of that going on. I def want to get the VS 100 ways bra.

As for the kiss, I kiss my Mom on the mouth all the time! She's my Mom!!! I'm still her baby and her favorite (and only) daughter. I don't think that there is anything wrong with it. You and Mason are too cute with the kissy face!

hey laydeez; i SO enjoyed my "me day" yesterday....actually my bank acct says i enjoyed it TOO much but in the end i dont feel bad becuz im SO worth it.

@lynnie; i breastfed for ONE week n was done, i enjoyed the full busty anna nicole boobs during pregnancy but weeks later them joints was like WOMP-WOMP and turned into saggy scrotum lookin boobs . VS does have a new bra that adds 2 cup sizes but im scared them joints will be sittin up under my chin. i just want that soft, supple, janet jackson "i get so lonely" boobs look!



@karyn; i felt the same way at ur age, when u get older and have kids you'll understand. im more emotional after havin kids so my shell has gotten soft. even as a mama's girl i kissed my mom on her lips as a teen too. stop bein so hard n show em some LOVEEEE!!

but uh yea that birdman n wayne kiss disturbed me

@swood; i don hair candy when needed; since im always at work i like to just keep it simple.

ok so back to ME DAY!! i dropped mason off at school, headed out to pay some bills, then got a much needed oil change, pedi...i started to dab in the minx nails http://www.minxnails.com/dnn/ cuz im oh so curious about it ($45) but i didnt have time. i may just wait for my "independence party" to rock those! But i went to sephora to get my face done...initially i was lookin for an eye primer and the lady wanted to dabble n create w/my eyes. i wanted to learn the blending method.

we used some urban decay eyeshadows, found a match for some concealer w/ Makeup Forever, Nars blush, mascara primer which really made my mascara pop and some eyeliner...the eyeliner is really tricky wit me cuz i flinch too much when someone tells me to look up so its hard, esp for the bottom half.

before i share pics...my updo twist do' is really holding well. i actually really LOVE it cuz i do literally NOTHING to it. i spritz n go and thats IT!! its been moisturized all week and i havent needed to retwist w/product yet. i did stop in carol's daughter to FINALLY get my hands on some mimosa honey and tried it on in the store; i cant wait to pair it w/my marguerite magic (stay tuned) and the jojoba n shea sheen is a really light spray. i'd use it more so as a style finisher and refresher. i'll stick to my water n oil spritz in the am/pm to keep the moisture goin and spray the cd sheen on afterwards!

I was really emotional afterwards becuz as a woman i get so lost in being a mom and always working that i forget about myself from putting others first so much. In realizing that i will NOT be wit mason's dad cuz we are on 2 totally seperate pages and he doesnt want any kids im currently SINGLE **cue beyonce** like officially SINGLE and i just needed an extra boost to shed that and move on pretty much. I have me days to keep myself sane. I think i spent about $200 on myself yesterday and felt oh so good becuz i know im truly worth it. Even if i just take time out to get a pedi i gotta do something!

back to regular ol' me


i must also pat myself on the back n toot my own horn becuz for my makeover we didnt use foundation, my skin care reggie must be better than i thought



So i'll be makin my rounds, mason got sick last night and i was pretty much up every hour on the hour wipin his nose and feelin his head for fevers my poor baby! he's wit the gram'nea now so i'll call to check on him later to see how he's doin...maybe he should drink some hot orange juice **looking at KNH**

Hope Mason feels better. @ warm OJ. I have vertigo and had a spell last night. It's subsiding this morning and sometimes taking allergy meds help. I was not happy when I didn't have any OJ in the refrigerator this am to warm and drink w/my meds. I'm willing to try anything to get rid of these dizzy spells/headaches.

missmo, im just tryin to keep up wit u n the girls in the makeup thread cuz yall be killin it. she used a pinkish-nude kinda nars lipstick but it came out more of a gloss; which was different!

i do oil cleanses maybe like 2-3 times a week before i go to bed w/evoo n castor. In the morning i use coconut oil to moisturize after i wash my face and at night i use this healthy hair butter from subtle essence; this local lady makes it and i use it for my face cuz its nice n light (although its tended for the hair its versatile and the ONLY thing i mainly use on my face since i got it). Now if i come home sweaty i use noxema pads to clean my face first cuz its the ONLY thing i've consistently used since my teen years that clears my face up. every once in a while i use aveeno cleanse n moisturizer too which im sure will last me a minute. In a pinch if im away from home avocado oil by itself is THE BEST!!!
