Sooo whats today? i cant keep up with the days anymore, i think it maybe old age but this week is FLYIN!! i greased my scalp today w/some pooka butter and re-twisted a few in the back why did i do that? i shouldve left well enuff alone becuz as i untwisted n retwisted i noticed how SOOOOOOFT n luxurious my hair was....im so tempted to wear it out but im stayin strong and lettin bianca devine come out to play this wknd.

I need to do my length check for my anniversary the end of this month, my twist in the back stretches to the bottom of my neck! EEEK!!

So Mason's gram'nea (this lady im REALLY close to, she's like a mom to me and is basically all mason knows) is looking to move down south, **sigh** i'd LOVE to move down south but i just dont see any jobs to compensate my current salary. im NOT takin a paycut becuz i have a certain lifestyle i'd like to maintain so i'd prefer to take my salary n move down there n live like . so i'll stick to my dream of retiring down south.

ok so im off to get my life together wit some exercise and catch up wit the rest of you laydeez....i'll post my pic later!!

I think the cost of living would make up for salary cut. Housing is less expensive, food & clothing is less expensive, etc. I understand though, I do. Just the thought of making less doing the same job can be hard to overcome.

I saw your response to me over on Lynnie's thread so I thought I would come on over to yours. KBB seems to be working so I am definitely trying to stick with it through May. I tried the locks mask last night with olive oil and baggy method. I wet my hair around 10:30 pm, saturated with the olive oil and luscious locks mask, baggied, tied down with scarf and then put a bonnet on top. I didn't rinse until about 7:30 this morning. I used a little KC Knot Today and Oyin Shine and Define. Right now, I am pretty happy. My hair looks moisturized. Since I have a TWA, that's all I care about right now -- trying to stay moisturized and get some growth. I want to be able to wear protective styles next winter b/c it seems like I have to wet my hair everyday with the TWA and that's not cool in the winter.

Have you ever tried KBB's regular or deep condish sealed with an oil for a wash n go?

i actually like my kbb...actually more than like but right before LOOOOVE!! the mask i was skeptical at first but i got REALLY good results. i used it twice so im excited to use it for a whole month for a more accurate result. for my dc's i always use em by itself first before i start adding extra's cuz i wanna see what they can do by themselves first. i made the mistake of addin evoo to my YTCarrots hair mask and did NOT like the results but by itself i LOVED the results!

for my twa days (still in question) moisture is the top priority. im tryin to have good naked hair like IB n others. frizziness comes wit the whole twa days so i wasnt really trippin on that. long as its not dry!

also got the kbb condish poo and deep condish...ehhh im in love wit the smell of course so it keeps me from payin attn to the results as much when i use it. i do really like the lather of the cond poo (actually one of the best poo's i found thus far...maybe its the smell talkin again ) one thing i do want to get when i shop there again is the hair oils.

Thanks Nubie. I think I have the herbal poo so I may try the conditioning poo next time but, I do like KBB poo better than anything else and I've tried a few (OK a lot). KBB wins the smell contest, too. LOL

My sister in law has been talking about moving down there after we get there but is worried about not finding a husband that isn't on the DL. LMBO...I told her we can do some private investigation work if necessary but then who wants to have to do all that? If I have suspicions I'd probably lose all interest anyway (that's if I was looking).
