so since i gotta play catch up...i forgot i used my mj curly meringue last week for the first time!! before i start...has anyone seen "why did i get married 2"? it was indeed funny, nothing ever tops the first one and did the endin hint for a 3rd? i want a 3rd but then again i dont ...and did i miss somethin or did janet n ashy lip malik yoba ever tell what their "issue" really was other than the death of their son? anyhoo, OMG!!! ive been groovin to the new badu n monica cd since last week...monica DEFINITELY took it back to when she FIRST came out with this one. Of course i got the whole badu collection and people slept on her part I from last summer but she made sure people paid attn to her this year wit that video...go head erykah baBOOTY!!

i seen congrats are in order for my other favorite blogger, kcurly at newly natural. love must really be in the air, lol.

OK so on to my curly meringue review:

I like it but i dont like it enuff to use it often. it has a really good hold but it did dry kinda hard and not as soft as my MJ BB. Also, after about 2 days i was ready to wash it out. . luckily i got it from my bogo but i think im gonna scoop out a lil to store away for myself and pass on the rest. i prefer the BB. now i do believe in 2nd chances so i MIGHT give it another try but no time soon. i wonder if i can mix it with some BB to curve the dryness.

Oh yea so my zoo trip was nice. besides the fact i HATE public transportation in DC it wasnt that bad, other than the many creatures i seen on the green line, plus u know our people love to show out when the weathers nice . i did get many compliments on my twist out and this one girl with cute dreads wanted to steal my earrings. i wouldve donated them to her but i couldnt find her later....go figure, lol. Now that i received my tui gift set, i'll probably do my review on that later on this week. My stepmom is in NY this week and she's pickin me up some tui oil she found at the flea market (now thats some goooood shoppin). Still need to buckle down and stick to my skin reggie cuz between the heat n me sweatin i hate gettin break outs!! EEEEK!!

Hey NN!!! Beautiful zoo and Mason pics!!! MJ CM gives very good hold, but you're right - not moisturizing. When I use it, I always follow/layer with the Buttercreme, or some other sheabutter mix. That was actually a good combo for me - I'm just heavy-handed and need cheaper prods.

I LOVE THE ZOO!!! But then again, I love animals. And I like stuff like that in general. I'm a big kid. I can't wait until I have kids so I can do things like that with them. It will be hard to tell who's having more fun, me or them. Lol.

so where do i find this veggie glycerin? is it time to put my aloe gro away? i loooove my aloe gro but im curious as to what the glycerin will benefit

I purchase my vegetable glycerin from health food stores. There is a small one in the shopping center on Campus Way South (the one with Target, Giant, Lowe's, Ross, CVS & Bank of America). It is to the left of Giant (when facing Giant). There prices are okay for a small business. I am hoping to pick some up this weekend. They were out of it Saturday when I stopped by.

Congrats on the house. That's awesome. Did you stay in the county? It's such a great time to buy. There are som good deals out there. I want to move next year, hopefully before the market rebounds and stays a buyer's market.

I'm glad you named your son Mason. I love that name. I always said when I have a son I'll name him Mason too. That's my family name on my mother's side. If I have a girl I'll have to figure out something else. I'm thinking about adopting and I swear if it's a boy, I've even thought of changing the name to Mason...not sure though. Anyway, I'm babbling.
