I planned to wait until my 1 yr mark which would be October 1 but every time I wash my hair I reach for a pair of scissors..

I have a 4Bish texture and my transition hasnt been that difficult (with the help of youtube and halfwigs) but lately Ive began to loaathe my relaxed hair...I really don't see its purpose anymore and it seems to make my detangling more difficult. I've even mini chopped in certain areas but haven't yet fully committed.

I think i'm ready but i'm also terrified..should I go ahead or try to find a stylist? any tips on doing it myself?
