BIG CHOP!
I thought I would transition for at least one year, but after 7 months of managing two textures, I just couldn't stand it anymore...lol. I called my beautician last Friday and was sitting in her chair that Saturday morning smiling from ear to ear. Here are pics of my first finger coil and my first wash 'n go. I've been having so much fun with my hair since I BCd, I wish I could stay home and play in it every day...lol!

Re: BIG CHOP!
I want to learn to finger coil. I was giong to get my cousin to do it but changed my mind (she wasn't too happy but she'll get over it). I'd like to do it myself. What'd you use on yours?

@Butterfly125: Congrats on the BC! Your hair looks cute!
@Dva: When I do my coils, I use my either my eco custard mis or Shea Moisture DT masque, and seal the ends with oil. Both give me great definition and moisture.

Re: BIG CHOP!
Dva, I use Kimmaytube's leave-in, a little jojoba oil, and Eco Styler gel. I don't part, I just use my fingers and work my way from the back to the font.
Thanks, ReRe!!. I use SM DT masque for my DT mixed with honey, but I never thought about using it as a styler. I know another lady on here uses it for a styler as well, and her hair is beautiful.

Thank you, Jo!! I couldn't wait either. My BC appointment was actually a week later but I just couldn't wait that one more week. So glad I did it.
