MSM, Silica and Biotin Empty MSM, Silica and Biotin

In the hair, MSM works with the natural keratin and protein levels of
the hair to accelerate the hair growth cycle by extending the length of
the hair growth cycle. MSM extends the length of the hair growth
cycle.

Silica is a common component of the body. It is found in connective
tissues, muscle tissue, bone, nails and hair. Silica helps strengthen
hair and makes it less likely for hair to become brittle and develop
split ends. Silica helps retain moisture in hair, creating shinier strands. It helps also strengthen hair and prevents or reduces hair loss. It also helps to delay the ageing process.

Biotin increases hair cortex
elasticity , prevents breakage, and thickens hair cuticle.

Biotin is created from yeast and bacteria. Individuals naturally
produce biotin in their bodies, which is then used for many different
things in the body, including the strength of muscles, bones and
tissues. Biotin is also used in the growth of hair and new skin cells,
making them healthier and more abundant. For individuals who are
experiencing hair loss, extra biotin may help the hair grow in thicker,
healthier and longer. For this reason, individuals may purchase biotin
to provide themselves with that extra dose.
When I first did my big chop 2 years ago I purchased a hair vitamin
from GNC. I never really paid attention to the ingredients, but my
length pretty much skyrocketed as well as the manageability and health.
I stopped taking the pills because they were extremely huge and now I
can see that they really did make a big difference. Have any of you taken supplements that had all three of these ingredients? How did it work out for you?

I have been taking biotin daily however I did because I was experiencing hair loss like MAJOR hair loss, it surely has reduced my loss of hair significantly.... also it did a bit to the length of my hair as well.........

I found the GNC Biotin 5mg to be too strong for me. It did grow my hair but just not on the top of my head. I have used other brands of Biotin at lower strengths but the results were the same. I can not take them internally (facial hair growth Embarassed ). Not willing to concede to defeat I added Biotin to a shea butter pomade that I made. It has only been a little while so I haven't noticed any change in the length of my hair and I haven't noticed excessive facial hair growth. Yeah! cheers
