That sucks about the lice - they can be bear to get rid of. That was a serious infestation! I'm a middle school teacher and the few times we have had them show up they always send home a letter for that entire team of students. It has never spread before. That is hilarious about the science project tho - that is a unique topic!

I love your twists. I may try some again tonight but I have not had much success with them holding. I like totally twisted for me but I use HH on my daughter cause she needs more moisture too. Perm rods have worked for me so that is an option too. I want something cute for Thanksgiving since I'm hosting!

Today I unraveled my twist, hated it!!! So I put it in a puff CocoEuro Hair Journey!! - Page 2 Img00010

This evening...
- Clarified with Herbal Essence Come Clean
- Co-washed with Suave Naturals Coconut Conditioner
- Deep conditioned with Tropical Creme Negra
- Did a oil rinse with EVOO
- Flat Twisted hair with a new concoction

About the concoction...I attempted to create tiashaunte's holding cream mix but I did not have enough honey so I mixed...

- Herbal Essence Hello Hydration
- A smidget of honey (used all I had)
- EVOO
- Sam's or Samy Gel for curls (don't feel like getting up to read bottle, LOL!)

Got to use perm rods for the front! CocoEuro Hair Journey!! - Page 2 Img00012 and off to bed I go!

Hope your hair woes are getting better! Sorry to hear about the lice. Of course, I was always told as a child in school, at cheer camp, and other events that we (African Americans) do not get lice also. So, ridiculous the mis-information that is spread around. I remember being in the 3rd or 4th grade and they did a "lice check" in my class and the teacher pretty much looked at me and passed me right over saying that I didn't have it. She didn't even look! And it was the girl that set right next to me that had it and caused the outbreak! So ridiculous!

Anyway, about your color. Did you consider an all natural option? I feel like I have become a henna spokeswomen since I just did one and can't stop talking about it and reccommending it. lol!

I got lots of grief from Afr. Amer. about our hair lice episode!!! I heard we got because I don't use hair grease, because of my children's hair type (they are "bi-racial") eventhough their hair texture is 3c-4b. Ridiculous!!!!

Wow! I really like your twist out with flat twist in the front. I want to go back to flat twist. I usually wear it as a staple style. About the sweet henna mixes, I'm clueless. I'll have to read up on that. I'll be watching your hair journey. CocoEuro Hair Journey!! - Page 2 Drunken_smilie

Sure you can! Just curl the relaxed hair with perm rods or flex rods...I just cut the remainder of my relaxed ends off 4 weeks ago and I wore twistouts. btw..thanks for the compliment! CocoEuro Hair Journey!! - Page 2 Icon_biggrin

Ok. I did try a TnC last nite and put the perm rods on the ends. Well it was my first time and it came out w/some still wet, and I even had one so tangled at the end that i had to cut the knot and the permed hair off that one CocoEuro Hair Journey!! - Page 2 Icon_cry. It came out really frizzy so I think I just need to get the right products.

Five day hair is a blessing. It still looks fresh. What did you do to keep it moisturized and fresh?

What is the weather like in Germany now?
