@truet-- All day hold and definition. Unfortunately it has silicones, mineral oil and some other stuff not good for curly hair, but the hold is great. May be an occasional use item, if nothing more natural works.

@ChrsLvsBks:Thanks for the encouragement.
@kea: Glad you love the curls.
I do love that my hair is so curly. This a simple wash n go. Simple Con wash with HEHH then apply curl enhancing product while in shower. Let dry without touching it. NO leave-in or added moisturizers. QC seemed to elongate and define a little better in the front and RR left hair a little crunchy at first, but crunched out to beautifully soft.
Tomorrow I'll try the JessiCurl Confident Coils to see how I like it for frizz control. I'll let y'all know.

Re: **DivaDr175**
So I decided I'd protect my hair and after a DT last night I did a BnC with my shea butter, coconut, almond, jojoba, and EVOO mix. Now my braids are pincurled to my head until tomorrow night when I'll braid out for our Watch Night service at church. My Aloe Vera Gel finally showed up today, but the AV Juice bottle was shattered and empty. UGH! Will let you know how the AVG works for my next WnG.

Happy 2010!!
Some how I forgot to post here yesterday though I posted on other threads. Oh, well. I prayed, repented and then danced in the New Year at church. Must say I was lookin' good. I love the BnC I did, but will need to learn how to braid toward the back of my head, since My hair loves to fall when soft leaving me with a big flat spot on the top of my head.
I was really happy with the texture of my hair. My Shea Butter, multiple oils mix really gets it soft. Then I added Lisa's Hair Elixir to my hands as I took it down to minimize frizz. Woohoo. Anyway, Happy 2010 to all of you. I'm spending the day drinking lots of water, getting lots of rest, and spending time listening to the voice of God.

Copied from the New Year's Thread-
Here are my results. I loved the look. And it's survived the night
well, too. You can really see where my hair is growing in after the
microbraid hair loss trauma. YAY!

Happy New Year!
Your hair turned out nicely! I directed someone to your page since they were interested in Jessicurl products. I hope you can help them.
I have the Beauti-curls leave-in. I have not tried it yet. Have you used it? It is one of the newer products she introduced.

Re: **DivaDr175**
Good morning CN family! I am feeling fierce after watching MC's video of all the TWAs. Wish I had sent in my own photos, but lesson learned and it feels good to be amongst so many beautiful women. Rockin Day 3 of my BnC. Going to the spa this afternoon for facial, massage and pedicure so don't plan to do too much today. It's a sorting weekend. Cleaning out all the things in the kitchen that are expired. Doing laundry and organizing my bedroom drawers so I can find what I need again. Have sorted my scarfs and headbands, so I can actually see them and use them. I love being productive in my pjs.

Water Challenge Not so good
So today is day 2 of the 1 gallon a day challenge and I'm so far behind at 1645, I'll never catch up. I seriously can't drink 3.5 liters of water before bed tonight. Oh well. Will try again tomorrow. I've just finished a prepoo with EVCO, EVOO and some of my castor/sunflower seed oil mix. Have been coating my hair with my shea butter mixture, but the temperature has dropped again so will need to protect it more.
Here's a photo of today's do. Almost long enough for a puff, but not quite.
I'm thinking about having one of the ladies at church do small two strand twists of my hair and leaving them in for a couple of weeks. Any thoughts? Other suggestions?

Re: **DivaDr175**
Thanks for the compliments ladies.
@Tamren-- my hair loves oils and shea butter. That seems to work better for me than just about anything else. My whipped shea butter is creamy because of all the oils I used in it. I also DT 1-2 times a week and con wash 2-3 times a week if I'm not in a protective style.

Re: **DivaDr175**
Thanks to everyone on the twists. I wore a stocking cap last night. Will use my bonnet tonight and see how they survive. Hopefully, it won't be too bad. I have retwisted an area with piece that apparently went astray in the process. NOt too much frizz this morning or evening. Wonder if I should coat them with more Shea butter mix or Aloe Vera Gel tonight or in AM. Thoughts?
