Your hair looks fab! You got great results!

Where'd you purchase your jessie curl? Was it online?

Happy Thanksgiving!

@beautifuleyez- Thanks for the compliment. I ordered my JessiCurl directly from the website. The delivery is really fast which is fabulous for APOs.

Home from London. Had a great time. Unfortunately, my camera died so not a lot of photos, but will post a few later.

This means trying to take them out in the morning while rushing to work is never going to turn out well. Nevertheless, a good headband is always to the rescue. I'll use my Shea butter/coconut oil mix when I re twist tonight and see what happens.

Hello! I must be getting more comfortable with my twist outs because today I didn't even try to separate the curls. I just let them be. Of course, got compliments left and right, even though I like day 3-5 hair best. Not sure what to do about the frizz factor on top, but honestly have not worried about it too much. Conwash with Jessicurl ExtraShea Conditioner; DT - JCWDT then used Lush's Coolauin as my leave in. Miss Jessie's Buttercream to style with shea butter on the ends. Love the texture, but wonder if I should be using some gel on these twists to keep things smoother. What do you think?

Did a TnC on my friend's damp hair tonight. Can't wait to see how it turned out. It's fun trying stuff out when you can see what you're doing. Lots of frizz on my head tonight. Must be that HIF syndrome. **DivaDr175** - Page 2 Lol

Have you tried aloe vera gel (kind in health food store)?

your hair looks great! i'm loving the twist outs Smile my TWA's too short for two strand twists, but i'm experimenting with different ways to moisturize @ night (for better recovery in the morning). when you add water before bed, do you put in anything else?

@keacurls-- I usually just spray with water and put my satin cap on. Sometimes I'll seal with my shea butter/coconut oil mixture.

Tonight I DT with JCWDT and used my hair therapy wrap. It seemed to work well. Co washed with HEHH and used SB/CO mixture to 2 strand twist again. Will see how the twists look tomorrow.

Can't believe it's been 5 days since I last posted. The snow is beginning to fall here and is beautiful. It's not sticking which is even better. Rockin a twist out after wearing 2 strand twists for 3 days. Will see how long it lasts. Yep, I'm still in my PJs at noon. Would happily leave them on all day, but have to go to a dinner at 5 pm tonight. **DivaDr175** - Page 2 Photo_10

@lena73- thanks so much.

To be honest I'm not doing much with my hair this week but I am excited that my shea and cocoa butters have arrived along with my sweet orange essential oil. I see some whipped butters in my near future. Still working this twist out, though it's gotten quite frizzy on top. Will be ordering that aloe vera gel shortly. That's all for now.

Your ingredients for a nice butter sound great. I bet it will smell citrusy. Please share your recipe when you do it. I will be back to see if you have. I found out from Pam with Koils by Nature that cocoa butter should not be used on the scalp. It does not allow the scalp to 'breathe.'

Once you get the aloe vera gel, you can try a sheacoaloe mix. I used it this summer, it is a mixture of shea butter, coconut oil and aloe vera gel. If you want the recipe, I will find it for you.

Mixed up some shea butter, with EVCO, and EVOO with a touch of jojoba.

Made body butter with shea and cocoa butter with sweet almond, EVOO and sweet orange for scent. It's a sublte orange chocolate sent on my skin. Love it!

Please explain why I wait until 8 pm to do something with my hair? Here are some pics from Saturday night's hair for our church's Holiday dinner/dance. Wash n Go, combed out while wet so would dry big. But in the flower while wet too. **DivaDr175** - Page 2 Photo_11**DivaDr175** - Page 2 Photo_12

Hair still in twists. Very soft, but a little flaky. will have to see if it's the conditioner or from shea butter already in my hair. Will post pics when I take twists down Christmas.

So I didn't get a lot of post Christmas photos but will post some when I get one. Today I'm in love with my wash and go. Used MJ's Quick Curls which is full of bad stuff, but makes for beautiful curls. These are post nap photos. Will try again with JessiCurl RR tomorrow and compare results. **DivaDr175** - Page 2 P1030110
