transistioning from a texturizer?

I'm aware that most of you lovely ladies are transitioning of have trannsitioned form the creamy crack... but is anyone growing out a texturizer, mild relaxer, tex-lax or anything along those lines?

I'm am almost 3 months into my transition and all is well. My staple style is a bantu knot out and I flat twist the front into the twist to get the roots better. I cut a couple of inches off already but I think I'm going to let it grow because I would like longer hair for the winter months. I want to grow out my texturizer because I love my natural hair and I finally know how to take care of it. I haven't experienced much split ends, tangling etc. but I miss my natural curls and once I get to SL of my natural hair its time to cut!
