TWA Protective Style: Video and Winter TWA Tips
Hey Guys!
It is getting colder outside and it is time to protect your TWA. If you hair is long enough to braid (plait) or twist. I think this will be a great protective style for you. Doesn't really matter how long your hair is, but I highly recommend this style for ladies that are rocking the TWAs and do not want to get sew ins, or braids for the fall and winter. I will post a step by step tutorial this weekend to show you all exactly how I did this!
If your hair is too short, don't worry, you still can wear your wash n go! My hair is getting a little longer so it is taking a longer time to dry! I BC'd in February so, it was extremely cold and I barely had hair. I used to wash n go everday, or protect my hair by wearing hats. If you do wear hats make sure, they are lined with satin (or wear something protecting your hair underneath it), just because your hair is short doesnt mean you have to forget about taking care of it. Remember, this is the MOST important step of your natural hair journey. Treat that TWA like silk, what you do now will determine your hair growth, and the health of your hair!
Also, try your best to keep your hands out of your hair, it can lead to dryness and breakage.
More to come~ Enjoy!
