Winter Weave: Protective styling!
Hey Ladies!
So as it starts to get chilly down here in Atlanta, I'm looking into getting a curly-fro full weave for a few months as a protective style. A blend between:

And this texture:

(ANTM veteran Yaya DaCosta)
Atlanta Ladies: any suggestions for hair brands (100% human) and or stylists to achieve this look for me? I'd appreciate the help!
Thanks y'all

Re: Winter Weave: Protective styling!
I'm not sure if the texture is close enough to Yaya, but I am transitioning to natural hair. I am 2 months post relaxer. People have suggested Bohemian Bohyme hair. It's a soft kinky natural texture sold in most hair stores and also online (found it on Amazon and Golden Mart Beauty Supply). A bit expensive but heard it lasts long. I plan on trying it as well. You can search it via YouTube as well to get a better idea of the texture. Hope this helps

Why 100% human hair?.
It won't melt if you apply heat.
(that is the reason my stylist recommended to me, there may be others)

@asanterochelle: I wore a style similar to the one you have chosen during the first 12 mos of my transitioning period. I chose to purchase a brand of quality and opted for Halley's Curls. I selected the creole wavy blend and it came out fantastic! It didn't tangle and it helped me learn how to care for my natural hair. Check out there website: www.halleyscurls.com
