Re: Yarn Braids (again)!
I went shopping today (no new hair/hair products), just clothes and jewelry, to reward myself for my A in my biology class i just finished this summer . We had a serious storm come through central South Carolina so my quick weave got wet I took it off when I got home and hopefully I can save it after it dries. It's human hair and it didn't get soaked since I used my shopping bags as an umbrella (lol) so it shouldn't be too bad.

Re: Yarn Braids (again)!
I wish I was good enough to take orders! lol
When I went shopping, a bought a jean shirt dress, and I have a bad habit of not trying clothes on before I buy them so it was too small (mama and grandma blessed me with too much hips for it)! It was on clearance for $7 which mean't I couldn't return it so I decided to cut the bottom off and make it a jacket. It came with a belt as well but since I won't be wearing it as a dress, I didn't need it. I came up with the idea to turn it into a headband.
I wrapped it around the front of my head, crossed it in the back and brought it back to the front and tied it in a bow. I think it would be super cute with big hair or one of my half wigs.
Excuse the wig cap. I had just pulled my quick weave wig off, coming in out of the rain. lol

What do you ladies think?
oh and excuse my closet. I just home from my school friday night and I haven't officially unpacked yet.

I saw the updated avi...cute. I like the half wig - I have a relative who wears wigs and if she had your skills, her room would be full of them. Congratulations on the A in biology!

Re: Yarn Braids (again)!
For those of you who don't know....the reason I decided to go natural was because of self-esteem and self-love issues. For the past few days, I have been struggling greatly with that and with other things. With God's help, I made it through those few days and I decided that the best way to keep the changes going in a positive direction was to stop prolonging the change and to go ahead and BC.
At 2 something this morning, I made the decision and at 3:20am, I was 100% natural. I love me for me, the way God made me.

me and my bf and I thought he would hate it but he loves it! He kept
