I crossed over to the dark side

After experiencing some heat damage. I decided to relax. Still very grateful to all the ladies who helped during my journey! I'll still be lurking since I do want to take good care of my hair, even if it's not natural anymore.

Oh wow, you had such beautiful natural hair (but ur relaxed hair looks good too though). Idk if you've ever heard of Traycee from the K.I.S.S. forum, she has beautiful and healthy relaxed hair and also Hairlista is a pretty good forum for long/healthy relaxed hair. I plan to transition for a long time, so I take alot of advice from the two sites

Your hair was so pretty. I'm sorry you had heat damage and relaxed it. You couldn't cut the damaged part off?

As long as you're happy, I'm ok. I do wish you would have attempted to give your hair a little more time. It was possible with some TLC, it could have recovered. But it still looks good either way.

I say do what makes you happy....your relaxed hair looks good too Girl I understand the heat damage cuz i have lots in the front of my hair, but Im just cutting it off as it grows out....Make sure to keep visiting curly nikki and check out some youtube videos on heat damage it may help you when and if you decide to go natural again

I totally admired your hair, but you did what you felt was right. I have heat damaged from transitioning but I'm slowly cutting as it grows. But my hair thanks you for the all products you sent. Your hair looks very good and full of life. On another note....I just love your blog!

Newlynin, thanks for checking out the blog! Please keeping and commenting. With everything I have going on right now (relocating, job search) I didn't really have time to baby my hair like it would need to be taken care of with the damage.
