My hair is feeling fabulous and I'm happy so all is well in curlyland. I'm rocking the usual flat twists under a scarf. I cowashed yesterday with Giovanni Tea Tree Triple Treat and then wrapped my hair in a tshirt for about an hour. After my hair was barely damp I separated it into two sections and proceeded to spritz with my horsetail spray, apply Vatika oil to entire length of hair, followed by castor oil. My hair felt like the softest cotton.

I think it's time for me to start experimenting with new hairstyles so I can be ready for the Spring. I can feel its approach and I'm ready for it.

Sadly, I went to bed with a stuffy nose last night and woke up with the same stuffy nose. I can only breath out of my right nostril but I don't have any other symptoms of a cold. Lets hope it goes away soon.

AL, I think you need a Neti Pot!!!!! They work wonders for clogged nostrils.

AL your flat twists look great!!! So pretty! And your edges have a come quite a ways! Do you still put the castor oil on them? I just told my sister about JBCO the other day because she has a spot at the front of her head where hair has fallen out so she ordered some.

Keep up the good work! Your hair has grown so much!

Thanks JC...I do still put castor oil on them in addition to Vatika oil. Its not broke so I'm not going to fix it lol

Thanks ladies. I'm feeling better but still sickly over here. Luckily my pumpkin hasn't gotten it. I have had to lay off the kisses Sad

lol

In hair news, I'm taking down my flat twists today for a cowash and MAYBE just MAYBE I'm going to do some two strand twists. I'm hoping I can get done with my entire head. It may be an all day project. Hubby won't be home until tonight so if I work on them during the little ones naps I should be good to go. We'll see...

SN: I really need to get around to updating my fotki...I'm slacking

Yesterdays hair. I did a avocado & coconut milk deep treatment the nght before for the first time. Aside from the smell and the little white pieces that were left in my hair after rinsing it did a nice job. Hubby was so kind to pick out the pieces that were left behind. It looked like little white strings.

After rinsing I applied Vatika oil and sealed with Avocado oil for the first time. I liked the way the avocado oil made my hair feel and look for now. We'll see if it continues to live up to my expectations.

I'm in the process of letting my eyebrows grow out so no front shots of this do lol. But I liked the results. I had a lot less frizz than normal. Even the pic that looks a bit frizzy doesn't do the style justice because there was practically none. I need a new camera! AfrikanLatina ☥ It's A... - Page 20 Icon_rolleyes
