Thank you winnie! Its definitely growing and the edges are filling in nicely. I know I can't rush it but I'm just waiting for them to be back in full force, if thats even possible.

I think I'm on the right track Chrs! If it were possible, I'd let you touch it lol. Hubby keeps his hands in it and even mentioned how shiny it was the other day while we were out. I guess the sun was shining just right because he never talks about how shiny my hair is lol.

I've been using a horsetail & lemon balm spritz on my hair lately and I love how it makes my hair feel. Its actually a beautiful detangler. I spray it on after a cowash and any knots or tangles disappear. I wonder what thats about. Either way I like it and my hair & scalp are thanking me for it!

That horsetail/eo spritz is the MOVE. I use it too but I put Tea Tree EO in mine. It helped me alot with my BC. I love that stuff.

I think today is the day to try something new! I think I'm going to some mini two strand twists. It may take all day but I'll get it done. Its going to be a lovely weekend.

Hey lady, you said you have been making some body scrubs and what not. Send it into a cosmetic lab for testing. If everything is ok. Make more, label it and post your info in the general business thread. GET IT GOING GIRL!!!

awwww...IB you're such a motivator. I love and appreciate that about you as well as the other ladies here. I actually do intend to start a natural body care line. I'm doing the trial and error thing at this point as far as scents, product consistency, preservatives,packaging,name etc.

After having it tested I am going to be sending out samples of the first few products to some of my close friends & family along with a survey just to get other womens honest opinions on the products. I want them to have their friends try the products too just so I'm not getting feedback from solely from women who love and care about me lol. Sometimes they can be biased. They are all spread out between the midwest and up and down the east coast for the most part. Since you have given me an extra push I would love to send you a few samples to get your opinion.

This whole process will take some time but hubby has been motivating me as well to do what I love in order to avoid having to do what I don't love(working for other people) lol.

I finished all but the very front of my hair last night. As I was going I was setting the twist on rollers so I can't really say whether I like it or not just yet. Keep your fingers crossed for me lol. I'm my own worst critic. Hubby will be at work all day so I won't have his opinion until later on tonight IF I decide to keep the hairstyle.

FABULOUS!! I AM GLAD TO KNOW YOU HAVE AT LEAST STARTED THE PROCESS. And it is great that your husband is motivating you.

I'm finishing up the mini twists now...just taking a short break. I soooooooo hope I like it lol

I put my all into things I'm passionate about so I'm taking my time and working on the body products slowly so there's no half stepping! You ladies are great motivation.

Oh no!! I'm sorry it didnt turn out the way you wanted it too. Hopefully you were able to make it work. I have to see all those hours of work just go down the drain.

I feel like my hair has lost its thickness when it gets twisted and that may very well be due to the postpartum shedding. I'm almost certain it is.


This is my hair issue that I have been trying to combat. I have extremely wirey hair(I was told this by my stylist while I was relaxed and in need of a touchup & now I know what she means). On top of my hair being wirey it's also a number of different lengths which gives my hair the appearance of being frizzy at times or even having split hairs. I've examined my hairs and I haven't found split ends but the varying lengths give that impression. The different areas of my head grow at varying rates so I have to figure out how to deal with that.


The front/top of my hair. I'm very pleased with my growth around here but it made it hard to work with the style. If my edges were in full effect I might have been able to work with the hair a bit more. The front edges can be twisted but basically end up looking like coils.
