So I came on thinking I was going to upload my pictures but now I can't find my usb cord. I wish my laptop had the slot for my memory card I'm headed out of town tomorrow so I know I probably won't get around to it until next week sometime but I promise pics are coming.

I'm so sad, I can't find my cameras usb cord to upload my pictures. Its not in the obvious places where it should/could be so I guess I have to hunt it down. Anyway, I did a brahmi treatment last night and included coconut milk in it for the first time. My hair feels stronger. It's growing so much and not just my edges. The back/middle is catching up with the back. I didn't think it would ever catch up. Now I have more hang and less poof. OH YEAH!!

I'm a little late but CONGRATULATIONS on your 1 year nappiversary!!!! YAY!!

I accidentally deleted pictures from my memory card that I didn't mean to erase but was able to cancel the deletion before they were all lost. It's always something lol

I'm learning that 1) shrinkage is inevitable unless you actively combat it, 2) deep conditioning is a must for me and preferably overnight 3) ayurvedic herbs and powders are my friend 4)I only need to shampoo with my Shikakai poo bar once a month 5) I don't need to oil my scalp more than once a week. It's simply not necessary and 6)not caring for my hair is not an option. I am retaining so much more length now that I actively care for my hair.



This was the first time I flat twisted from front to back. I don't remember if I liked the outcome or not. I guess it wasn't too memorable so I must not have liked it too much lol.



This was the result of the CBR "method" of twisting.




My edges are getting better and better as the weeks pass. I can actually style my hair now and not have to stress about my edges. And guess who has a nice sized ponytail now??!! ME!! I'll take a pic after my next cowash(my hair is twisted now) and post here.

You have mastered those two strand flat twist! And your edges are looking really good!! Grow edges grow!!

Your edges are definitely getting better and those flat twists look great! Those are "wear out in public" good!

Thanks Lynnie and Tia. That PPS was no joke but I'm so glad I didn't let it get the best of me because I was so close to BCing again at one point. I just had to learn what my hair needed and what it didn't. I'm a happy sista

Hunny I was thinking the same thing. LOL I didn't realize how much I took my edges for granted when I had them. Now I am going to nurture my edges even after they are back in full effect.

Thanks Terra! My hunny just happened to be walking by while I was on the computer a few weeks back and saw a picture of you holding up a book about something. (I was on your thread) and he said what's that book you're holding? lol He had just glanced at the screen and thought it was me. It was the glasses and the hair according to him. lol

LOL. We have popular features hehe. There are a lot of people on here that are chocolate with glasses and same hair length. My aunt always peeks over my shoulder like "When did you wear your hair like that?" LOL, I have to let her know, it's not me!

@Terra--Exactly...I have tell him all us chocolate sistas don't look alike but I understand where he's coming from. At a glance with the right lighting and hairdo there is a resemblance lol I'm not a fierce model like u tho

LOL I'm working in steps too!! Once I get flat twists down - and I WILL do it cuz I'm determined - then I'll move on to cornrows. Until then I'll have someone else do it for me ... lol
