Hey CrissyQ,
I haven't tried the benotonite yet, but plan to soon. Awww, mommy and her little lady pampering their hair together.
Your hair is really growing. Keep doing whatever you're doing. You can tell it's working.

Hey there, lovely!!! I never considered bentonite clay. I going to research this some more. I've been looking into different clarifiers lately. Tried baking soda, and I don't think it's for me. I'm glad the BC worked for you!
Re: crissyQ farewell to curlstreet
I can really see the difference the second time around. Look @ U!!!!!!!
Re: crissyQ farewell to curlstreet
Hey CrissyQ...
I'm glad you liked the bentonite clay treatment. Now you've got to do a henna...that is a totally different experience...LOL
Hope you had a great weekend.
I've been MIA since Friday...just plain ole busy!!

Re: crissyQ farewell to curlstreet
Good morning ladies! My weekend was great, I had a great hair weekend, I am always excited about that. As you know I did my treatments on friday night and i can tell that my hair is loving it. So far I have been doing a co wash with YTC and letting it sit while I shower, rinse then apply AOWC as a leave in. i seal it with this vitimin E oil that I so love ( got it from the beauty supply) it has sweet almond, lemon, wheat germ, grape seed, jojoba and rosemary, and then for the final touch I add some shea butter. What a combination! You talking about shine, baby bye! LOL
My BF was not to fond of me cutting my hair off and going natural, but he is getting use to it. He never comments about it, so yesterday I asked him what he thought about my hair. He said well, you know I am not into the "natural" look, but I can say you wear it well. I told him to look at it, cant you see those curls, he said "yes crystal, I see the curls" . Mission accomplished!

You just wait...he will so be on you like white on rice! He will HIH LOL
You know you can henna over color, but I think I read you can't color over henna. Check out hennaforhair...there is tons of information on that website concerning henning and if you want to henna for shine, color and the benefits of henna.
Where did you get your AOWC? I wented to WholeFoods they had AO on sale but I couldn't find the white camellia.
TIA

@ BF. I'm with KNH, he's going to have HIH syndrome soon enough. I'll have to check the oil you talk about.

Re: crissyQ farewell to curlstreet
Hey girl,
Did you get your Burdock Root Butter Cream yet from Qhemet's? You can use this for your twists. I did do twists and plaits when I had my twa. I started about two months after my BC. I used the Qhemet's Amla and Olive heavy cream and the Shea Amla that I use now. I do use the Burdock Root Butter Cream and I like it.
