Crown and Glory Technique?

Anyone know what this is? I visited the site but really didn't get much from it.

I went to that site in 2007-2008 it was a bit different then--from what I can remember (and a bit easier to navigate)--Back then what I took to be the C&G technique was washing your hair in braids as described here. I guess it's a total system of caring for the hair incorporating different methods to hide/protect hair by braid extentions or hiding under wigs to aid in retaining growth.

ok, the braid part was the only thing I got from the site. What you described makes way more since than the website did.

I used this technique the beginning of my transition...what I did was just keep my hair braided and protected so I wouldn't have to manipulate it much. The website pretty much stresses protective styling.
