Damage at the crown Empty Damage at the crown

Post by Beautifulyfe 14th October 2010, 10:32 pm

Since I was in junior high and started messing with chems on my hair, the hair in the crown of my head has never been healthy. I remember once or twice my hair broke off so bad it was about an inch ling and I cut my hair ear length to try and match it as much as possible.

Now that I am natural my goal was to grow my edges back (done), grow to the longest length it has everbeen ( still working on it) and keeping my crown healthy (#fail). WHY???????

I dont know what to do anymore. I heard someone on youtube say that your crown gets damaged more so than anyother part is because the sun beams on it. Is that a bunch of crap or is their some truth to it?

Well there may be some truth to it as our hair is susceptible to uv light just like our skin. You might want to try using some oil mixes to promote growth and massaging your scalp to stimulate the follicles to grow hair.
