BAA Growth Challenge

I think 6 months is great. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] I don't think there's anyone that wants there hair to stop growing after 6 months lol. I'm excited to see where my hair will in that time WITHOUT PPS being an issue. Once a month of documenting shouldn't be too hard either considering most of us are on here daily. I'll be back to post my stats and pics on the 1st. This will be the first challenge I participate in and I think I'm going to incorporate the castor oil usage into this challenge for myself.

im gonna measure my hair today, i cant wait. some of yall dont HAVE TO do 6 months, im doin it cuz that'll put me at my year anniversary and u see more of a difference in 6 months vs a month or 2. i think oops challenge was jan-april and i had good growth then too!

Ok I'm back with the stats!

Current length: 4", 4a with some 3c mixed in (I'm guessing)

Any goals: Long, strong healthy hair with no specific length goal

Challenge duration: 6 months

Regimen: Clarify once a month, Co-Wash as needed, moisturize and seal. DC and hot oil treat once a week. Henna once a month. Massage scalp with wild growth hair oil every other night. Exercise 3-4x week. Drink 48oz of water a day. One serving of fruit or veggies at every meal. Take MSM, Biotin and Multi daily.

Products: Suave almond and shea butter conditioner, komaza care shea butter hair lotion, carol's daughter hair milk, homemade oil blend, eco-styler gel, carol's daughter healthy hair butter, wild growth hair oil, unrefined shea butter, castile soap.

Since Sunday is my wash day, I will post my stats then. I think I am gonna do 3 months because Aug will be my one year mark.

I had already planned to see where I was in 6 months so, I'm in!

We must have bc in the same month. My 6 months anniversary is tomorrow...so this will work for me to see how much growth I will have in 6 months which will be my 1 year anniversary!!!

I'll post my information in the morning May 1st which will be my 6 months anniversary did I mention that already) LOL

Hey Ladies!

Seffy and I are going to join the challenge! I know that we're under 4
in but Seff grows like a weed in twist so we may be closer than I think.

I'm in also. I have been natural for just about 3 years, but I have been cutting my hair every once in a while since then. I am excited about the growth challenge and I can't wait to see how much growth I will have after the challenge is over.

goals: healthy and moisturized hair

challenge duration: 6 months; since 3 months is the halfway mark i'll post a new pic of how far i've come and re-up and update my stats

products: for now im changin em every 30 days to REALLY make sure the products work for me..however, im contemplating on revampin that becuz after my 2nd-3rd wk of consistently using it, my tresses pretty much give it a yea or nay!

reggie: i still do "the works" once a week (poo, condish, dc), when its consistently warm (over 80 degrees) it will be wash n go's ONLY, unless i throw in a protective style here n there. i plan to henna before the summer and co-wash every 2-3 days when styled in wng mode.

I'm not really sure at what length your hair is considered a BAA but here are my stats

length: between 6 and 7 in depending on the spot

products well i'm in the process of finding my staples so i change it up every 2-3 wks i planned to post whenever i found a combo i like

goals: chin length

challenge duration: 6 months

regimen: mini twists or mini braids for 2 wks at a time. every 2 wks prepoo, shampoo, dc retwist or braid. If i'm wearing braids i'll probably cowash those but not the twists. At some point in there i plan to try my first henna gloss also.
