Hooray for this challenge [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] , I can't wait to post my stats May 1.
I truly believe this will help out a lot. From product suggestion to pure motivation , because sometimes it hard to rock twa. Being a sista like me I love versatility. There's not many styles we can rock. So sistas please post any styles you've rocked too. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

@ Nubie - I don't have a bnb because I'm only wearing the wash n go style. Once I graduate to more styles, I'll jump on bnb wagon.

Question my fellow TWAs...do any of you trim your hair? How often? So my BC was in Jan. I did it myself... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]. Now not sure if I should get it trimmed. Have a few fly aways and wonder if i should go to a barber or get the hair trimmed. Help and thanks in advance. My friend did my BC, she did a good job but I had a few random pieces as well so a few days after I just went and got it trimmed and shaped up. It may help, but if they don't bother you and your TWA isn't crooked, then it's no big deal, you can trim them as you go. HTH.

CeeC wrote:Hi fellow twa'ers,

I will be ready to post my stats and pic by May 1, 2010. I decided to drop MJ's products from my list for now. I was getting terrible build up from the curly pudding and curly buttercreme. It kind of left a flim on my hair. So I decided to go with eco styler gel (green one) and evoo. Hope it turns out better.
Has anyone used MJ's products and how did it work out for you? I am returning the 2 culry buttercreme and baby buttercreme that I bought on Thursday from Target. I thought I would stack up but for almost $150.00 I can get some better products that are natural with no mineral oil or petroleum and prob save some money!!!! I'm sure I can find something to buy, my list is very long of products that I am just waiting to purchase and try.

I stopped using the Baby buttercreme for the same reason....around day 3 or 4 my hair would feel icky.

I did my BC a tow weeks ago (my sister-in-law did it) and I had a few fly-aways myself. I did a little re-clipping on Saturday because the back was longer, but as mstokes 2008 said if they don't bother you, no need to I guess. I have noticed though that my hair doesn't feel as dry or coarse since I clipped off the remaining relaxed ends, but I don't plan on trimming in a while again though.

Ok ladies I did the coils. I wil keep them up until sat. I used eco styler olive oil gel. This morining I spritzed with a mix of water, bb oil moisturizer with aloe and castor oil, and aloe vera gel. I also oiled my scalp with jbco.

@Alicia I feel you my arms were hurting I am sure the protective style will be worth it though.

@Rosa they were really easy you just twist you hair in your fingers. I tried it a couple times on half my head before I did my whole head

@Moriah I tried two twist in my hair and they looked like coils anyway lol
