How long you've been natural: Had my last relaxer in late 2005, cut off the last of my straight hair Spring of 2007
Fav products: I'm a Deva girl--DevaCare No-Poo, DevaCare One Condition, Devacurl Set it Free; I've also been using Curls Gel-les'c instead of the Set it Free for a few weeks, and I like it quite a bit; in search of a really great deep conditioner

Fav products: Since I'm a newbie, I really don't have any favorite products just yet. A few of the products I've tried so far are HE Totally Twisted, Suave Coconut Conditioner, Cantu Shea Butter & Leave-In...there is so much out there that I notice myself going to the hair section whenever I go to the store, I am definitely a PJ in training.

I moved to Spring Hill, Fl(Tampa Bay area) February 2005 after my house was finished. I am a single mom of a 13 yr old girl (in transition) and a 7 yr old boy. I am also an insurance agent specializing in life, health and investments after having an 11 yr career in healthcare. I transitioned from April 2008 until my bc September 2009. About me: I'm enjoying my life. I get to do what I love everyday. I come from a very large close knit family, they are everything to me. 95% of the women in my family are natural... that absolutely influenced my decision. My two best friends (my sister being one) recently big chopped, that made me and my mother two very happy women I've been natural since 2004, but only recently learned to care for it, and I really wish I would've known then what I know now

My faves: so far they are HE HH (mainstay), Shea butter, and coconut oil. I'm constantly experimenting since my hair seems to like some things then reject them later on down the road Idk. I just do what the hair tells me to do.
