I notice that all the natural beauties look better with natural hair than with permed hair. Maybe I'm biased but that's how I feel. Sorry.

i'm so happy because i found out that my ACE Brianna cut all her relaxed ends off! yaaaaay for her. i have so many natural linesisters and they're definitely great motivators as well as all you guys on CN! So i wanted to say that i am SOOOO glad i stumbled across CN and 'met' you guys. your stories and tips and everything have helped me not to run back to the crack that is a relaxer!

i was getting jealous of evry1 BC'ing...and i hate my relaxed ends with a passion so today i just started cutting...i cut about 5 inches of relaxed ends in the fronr...and i might have my mom cut some more when she puts in my kinky twist extensions, i just wanna leave enough for her to be able to grip...even tho i still have some relaxed ends, i can see my curls pop more than they were...i'll probably cut the rest of them off way b4 june when i planned to BC

congrats mellow!! i just recruited/motivated 2 of my girlfriends to go natural and my stepmom is transitioning. this naturalness has definitely been easier than i thought...thanx to u guys!!

So I just woke up for my nap and........ I got a text from my sister.... I open it and........ she BC'd!!!!! She didn't even tell us she was transitioning- she got a perm 2 months ago. She got my other sister ( who is a curly) to come over after church and said " help me cut it off". She is fierce in her TWA! I'm TOO excited !!!!!!!

Lol! Thanks guys. The cn community is the best. I'll do some persuading during my next convo with her. She sent me a pic- twa, make up done, smiling with her eyes- it was so fierce. I wanna post it so bad, I'm itching. But I won't. I'll tell her to join the forums AND submit her story to Nikki. I feel like jumping- me and my two sisters are natural and my mom is 8 months into her transition. Family photo!
