My brother is over 18..he packed his bags and left home. Does that count as running away?

Why is everyone calling me about it? I suggest that he needs a good 'ol punch in the face.

Ladies, where can I find a cute and affordable pencil skirt? I need it for my aunts retirement party that I'm attending on Friday. Thanks in advance for any suggestions. Ordering online is not an option since I need it by Friday but if you've been to any chain stores and have seen one please let me know. Smile

Yes, he has no car and no job....he can't get far and my mom lives in the country. He was with is girlfriend. He's perfectly fine (until I see him) for now he's just stupid

I wish the weather wasn't yucky here. (Rain, rain, lots of wind, rain) And looking forward to payday! I get my check tomorrow, so it will definitely by gone once I go crazy on Black Friday.

Hubby's surprise appreciation dinner went really well yesterday (he was a ministry leader at our previous church and they really want him to come back because nobody can do all the work like he did!). We almost didn't make it though. 3 yr old was still sick w/fever but I kept insisting that we go "just for a little while". He thought it was a surprise party for someone else and I was bringing a cake. He got mad at me on the way whenever I shot down his attempts to turn around and go home so that he can stay home with the sick child. Even when we got there he said he'd stay in the car while I dropped off the cake! I was like, "just come in and say a quick hello". It was like pulling teeth! When he saw the real purpose of the party he was pleasantly surprised. It seemed to really lift his spirits though so I was very happy! We stayed and ate and took the kids home.

Today he's been in such a great mood! I haven't seen him that happy in a while, despite the current circumstances.

Glad you both are in good spirits and the appreciation was nice. It's great to receive a heartfelt THANK YOU..

You really do have to be... It was very powerful. I wouldnt sugeest you go and see it unless you are prepared to see some pretty intense stuff... and for Monique to be able to take on a role like that, she really deserves some recognition.

I love cooking early that way i can rest. My turkey is done. Mac n cheese put together just need cooking. Greens done. dressing work in progress n pies tonite after work. I am so glad I bought rolls cuz I dont feel like doing home made bread.

@Tia you tell'em cuz if you start catering to everyones whims they will keep on pushing your buttons and we can't have that. Plus I always say if you r that picky eat at home. just my two cents. I do believe that when its all said and done you are going to enjoy everything and they will enjoy the food that you prepare.
