Random Thoughts...

These tiny individual braids are taking forever. I would like to get 2 weeks out of them.

I do...in fact, I trimmed them earlier this month when I took my yarn braids down. And my hair STILL gets frizzy!! I've tried plopping, the CG method, applying everything in the shower, finger coils...my hair looks at me like "Uh, NO TRICK!!" and goes "poof" with the stray hairs and the peach fuzz. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] I've even tried going WITHOUT product, and I get the same thing. I don't know what to do. (Except either cut it off or get locs sooner than I was planning.)

Well I know this, my daughter has had 8 brain surgeries and endured severe pain before and after sometimes the narcotics she was given wouldn't help so if she were to ever tell me she could get some medical marijuana and it did what the other drugs couldn't do I would tell her to go right ahead and get it. If you ever had to watch anyone child or otherwise moan in pain for two whole days when the pain got to its worst you would surely understand. So if it really works I'm for it!

I'm totally for it! When I was a teen my cramps were that bad. I have dysmennorhea and I missed at least 2 days of school every month because of it. Luckily, they have gotten better with age. So I can definitely understand severe pain. The narcotics simply don't work for everyone.

That is why I love my Nuvaring! I used to get cramps so bad that my feet would go numb. It was terrible. I haven't had a cramp in years since I started this birth control.

Really? I was on the pill and it made me mega-hormonal and my hair thinned. It was horrible, maybe I will see what my doc says. My cramps are still intense, but I've learned to manage and reduce my activity level around that time. Thanks Tia!

The pill didn't work for me either. My doc was able to start me on some free samples of Nuvaring - hopefully your doc will have some also. I should be a spokesperson because I am alway plugging this product, LOL.

Wow!! I am sorry to read this, how is she now?

She is still recovering from her last procedure in Dec but she is back in school (college) doing much better thank the Lord!! And thank you for asking!

I am fuming. I heard some news but I thought I was okay with. Now the more I think about it. I want to do bodily harm. I may be sweet and nice but I have connections and can make somethings happen.

I need much prayer. much much prayer.

Ok so I just checked the mail and got something from Redken, I thought, wth? Then I remembered like 2 months ago I signed up for a sample on their website, I just put in my name and address. Totally forgot about it. Well they sent a full size (5oz) Redken Curl Wise 14 "curl defining cream for coarse hair"...cool right? Yeah, I'm always excited when something free is involved. No matter what it is. lol
