Hi, i never stop by but i always see your comments. I tried to look for your CSJ to tell you I like the new Avi (kinda old now) but i could not find you Natural in Wonderland - Page 19 Icon_scratch

Good Morning beauties!

I hope that everyone had a wonderful weekend and was able to enjoy some beautiful weather in her hood. This weekend my GF and I celebrated her birthday everyday. Friday we went to the club, Saturday we went on a beautiful seaside hike in San Francisco, followed by a picnic, and Sunday we did some shopping and watched the Celtics game. All in all a good weekend. Last night we topped it all off with seeing the Karate Kid. If you haven't seen it yet, go see it!!! It was awesome and I can't wait to own it.

So I just wanted to let you all know that I am going to be posting less frequently. As my time here at work begins to wind down, I need to start looking for new positions, training opportunities, blah blah blah. That means less time to hang out in the 'hood. I will try to keep you all updated on the goings on of me and Seffy but I will not be posting daily. Natural in Wonderland - Page 19 Icon_sad

I will be doing more posts in the make-up thread. I think my main deterrent is that I don't wear make-up often so I forget to post.

Beautiful new avatar!

Love the lip color! I have tried red once and it did not look right. What is the trick to picking the right shade? I have it and a couple of coral ones. I may try to blend them and see what happens. Thank goodness they were on sale.

heeeeeeey femme, missed you honey! i LOOOOOOVE the avi so i had to run over here. i noticed u said the lipstick is actually pink. NARS has REALLY good lipsticks too. i was surprised cuz when i think of lipstick i dont think of shine but the one the chick at sephora put on me was HOT!! it was an amber rose bubble gum pink!

Hi Chrs! I left you msg on your page about the lipstick, it's FunnyFace by NARS. A brilliant hot pink. I bought in a moment of Rihanna inspiration. I love love love it and right now it's one of my signature colors. I'm still looking for a flattering orangey coral color. I have both red and golden undertons so I may enlist some help at the MAC counter or Sephora.

Hi KNH! Thanks for dropping by, as you can see you're not missing much, lol. I know how you feel sometime it just takes SO LONG to get to everyone's page. I wish that CN had chat rooms, but that could be even MORE time consuming! As for the eyeshadow do you use a primer? It'll help the color last. I have oily skin too so I make sure to use a powder on my lids (either foundation or powder eyeshadow) and then layer a neutral shadow as a base and THEN whatever color I am using. I do the same thing with cream shadows.

Good morning my beautiful Curlfriends!

I hope that all has been well with you. I have thrown myself into my job hunt full force resulting in 2 job interviews (one tonight and one next Thursday) and a PT gig working a few Saturdays a month freelancing at Nordstroms. Things are definitely looking up. Natural in Wonderland - Page 19 Icon_lol

In hair news I twisted my hair up last week after wearing down for like EVER. It took me about 4 hours total. I have six flat twists on the right side and the rest are basic two strands, kinda on the chunky side. Seffy is growing like a weed and I'm going to trim her up soon. I'm getting kinky twists at the end of August so I want to get to the salon before that and have my stylist do my trim for me.

I am in desperate need of a DC. I ran out of my Jessicurl and haven't re-upped. Sad. Natural in Wonderland - Page 19 Icon_cry

That's all that's going on with me. I WILL definitely have pics next time I post. I believe I owe y'all pics from May, at least.
