Good evening curlies...

well I woke up to aprox 6-8 inches of snow I am so happy it wasn't as bad as they predicted

Because I don't feel good I did nothing to my hair..which left me with a mess today. So I picked out curls and was pleasantly pleased with my fro

So I got out my two best buds and went to work doing two strand twist.....

I did say I don't feel good right? Well when I got to this point, I was ready to cry. I just wanted to lay down, but I knew if that happened I would never get back up! So the twist are in...I hope they look good when I take them down. Not sure if I will where them to work...IF I go...


OOOO and I almost forgot. I had to go to Marshalls and I found this giant bottle of Giovanni Deep Moisture Conditioner. I know it's not the direct leave in but I was souped it was only $8.00 for 33.5 ozs so I snatched it up!


and finally I don't know why the scarf set pic didn't show up..but here it is. This young lady use to work for me, she is a gem

So that is all I have for today. I am going to eat my dinner that my daughter made for me ...take a shower, try to finish up thispurple hat & scarf set and just relax!!

Even though I feel like one of those snow plows ran me over, no Chrys I didn't stay home...I have a short week so I am trying to make it work. BUT my twistout is finally looking more like I want it, no1 100% there...but a lot better than past attempts. I am getting a ton of compliments today...with my snotty nose and frog in my throat!

So what do you all think??

I hope you're feeling better Sweetdrk! Your twist-out looks bouncy~!! The snow here is already brown and watery. (I'm in NYC.) When I was walking to the bank this morning I saw some little kids making snow angels on the sidewalk.

I hope you feel better. I like your hair and your ends look better than mine do. My twist out will be fluffy with straight ends. What the deuce is that about?

LilMs, have you tried putting rods on the ends? I didn't but I just kept twisting and twirling the ends around my fingers...I still have some straight ends though. I am anxious to see how it progresses as the days go one

ok I just realized today is my 4th month of being natural! I must say this is the best decision I have ever made to date. It is so liberating to be free of the bonds that come with chemical processing! I love my hair and she loves me.

P.S. no pictures today..I am rocking day two of the twist out..SICK as all get out. Gonna have a short day at work today and I am off tmrw. So the plan is to drug up and rest so I feel better.

That's right sweetdrk1 tell them to take that!!! I think you are a beautiful sista whether light skinned or dark skinned. You have no reason to have low self esteem! Color struck people are funny to me!!!!!!

Trust me when I tell you light skinned people catch hell, I had to let some people go because it was ALWAYS a light skinned/dark skinned thing with them. I was out to eat once and this chick told me the waitress only refilled my water first because I'm just as white as she is...ummm no idiot she refilled my drink because I'm sitting at the end of the table.
