4A Blow Out/Press & Curl

Hello!

For those who have very thick & coarse hair, when you got a blow-out/press & curl for the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd time, how many days did it last? And what products did you use to protect your hair from the heat? Thank you in advance for any feedback you could provide!

I let my hair dry 75% dry, then blow dry on a warm setting, and I never use a straightening comb. I always use a chi iron with heat protector.

When I straighten it typically lasts for two weeks. I use coconut oil and frizz ease to prevent reversion. I never wrap my hair because it is too much manipulation for me. I just place a scarf on the top part and use a bonnet on the back:
