I couldn't read past the young lady wanting Beyonce's hair.

My thoughts exactly! I read it and said aloud: "she wearings a weave. An OBVIOUS weave."

This is what got me


When the lady that said once you take down the weave you can only leave your hair in its natural state for 2 or 3 days because it damages the hair. She changes her hair every month because her shop manager wants it that way so the clients can see the different styles on her.. I bet with her changing her hair that much her hair looks a hot mess. Esp if its weave because looking at most of those head they need to get their money back

WTF! ARE YOU SERIOUS?! I read the whole article,and my eyebrows went up several times just reading all the ignorance. Some of those girls were young and dumb by the things They were saying. Why do They hate their natural hair so much? And why do They not think that natural hair can't grow longer and look better than a weave? Slavery of the mind,I tell ya! SMDH

Lol no not even. She tends to wear alot of wigs and weaves. A friend of mine taped an interview of hers and told me while he was clipping her mic to her blouse he noticed she was completely bald at the sides. After years of wearing tight weaves or braidsyour hair will break.

I'm speechless. I don't even know how to put my thoughts into words. Disgusted isn't strong enough.

Ugh how depressing and sad... I do hope it was just a bad joke but how can I? I work with a woman who once told me she was told to marry out of our race so that her children's hair would be "good hair" . I asked her if her hair never committed a crime and wasn't drug addicted or had not assaulted anyone how could she consider it "Bad Hair?" Do you know she passed on this piece of advise to her children and they actually followed it. So sad....

I wasn't too fazed by people wanting to change their hair every month, w/e. I just found it funny that they damage their hair doing whatever it is they do and whine that it won't grow...Well dear, of course not.

Sooo that's the only reason why you want a white guy? Talk about hatred...

The thing is that someone out there thinks like this even if it isn't these ladies. Sad.

Wowww..If you want to relax..fine but at least know about your hair.
Even when I was relaxed I never thought like that ("My hair won't grow without a relaxer", or thinking that was Beyonce's real hair)
I feel like educating them would be like teaching a little kid something sooo simple to me but to them they just won't understand or won't care to(Though I'm still learning soo much myself).
