I am happy for you that you realized that you cannot do everything to your hair that everyone else does I love that we have so much information to choose from but thats what we are doing making choices It is difficult to get caught up in products I have only been natural for a short time(7months) & I had alot of products as well(about 10-15) I decided that I could not afford to keep doing that some of them were not working for my hair so I gave them to my cousin she's a teen & was glad to get them I just have a few products in my arsonal now & thats the way I plan to keep it

Oh I totally understand. Once I found products that worked for me, I stuck with them. You have to do what works for you. And it's good to give a product some time to see how it works with you hair, unless of course you realize immediately that it doesn't.

You do what works best for you girl. I have learned myself since doing the CG method you have to find out what's best for you because everyone's hair is DIFFERENT.

Honestly, the word Regimen just cracks me up all by itself. LOL

I agree with everything that's posted. I havent become a PJ because I simply dont have the $$$ [unemployed full-time student]. Although I live vicariously thru you guys, lol.

The one thing I've learned is that I have to stick with what works for me even if a lot of naturals say/do contrary. Example: My hair loves Cantu shea butter leave-in and it has cone and protein, things I was advised to avoid like the plague. My hair liked it and was doing well with it, but I decided to stop using it because a natural vet, told me to. <<crazy i kno. That was months ago and I never found another leave-in that worked the same. From that time til 2 wks ago, my hair was dry and breaking like crazy. I started using the Cantu again and WA-LA [sp?] breakage stopped and my hair is uber moisturized.
