teenatty wrote:@ Ambitious_Tiff lacefronts Really ?? SMH!! Anyway let me share my story real quick. I told my best friend who is also my brother "I am going Natural" He said " You deserve to be natural out of all the people we know. You did have a jericurl at three."" Yes my mom put a jehri curl in my hair. It was the eightiesa and no one could handle my thick coarse hair. But like the convo above I am lucky that I wasn't bald or close to it. But yes a lot of people are agaisnt natural hair. I believe natural is beautiful and You can learn to LOve it. And hello@ blkbeauty2010, @LaToya28 ,@FalconTress ,@misskris
I had a jheri curl, toooo!!!! I was tender-headed and mama was heavy handed. It just made for a traumatic experience for both us. So, one day she gave up on hot combs and relaxers and took me to the barber. I had a jheri curl from 1st thru 4th grade. And at a white school. The kids were all ... "why's your hair so wet?" ... O ... M ... G!
Sorry for the rant ... you just brought back so really bad memories. lol ... I will say this though, my hair grew like a weed with that curl. I would rock the heck out of a banana clip ... juicy and all ... lol

I get a kick out of what people buy into now a days!!! Its a shame that the mother would do something so crazy!!! But then again I have seen some interesting things walking around the elementary school that I work in. What happen to just braiding the hair and adding beads!!!
@Tiff hey girl...didn't know you were on here!!!!

LMAO hey hey women stop bashing the lace fronts lmao i wear them im transitioning is either that or rock Short , short hair , lol but as the wig queen i know how to pull my baby hair to cover those moon shape hair lines lol .... i had a few custom made but that glue is something awful and proven to cause traction alopecia so i had to stop ... this women having that conversation are a little on the ignorant side hopefully going natural and experiencing the journey will open their eyes , that women lace fronting her daughter (toddler) hair is RIDICULOUS and should be ... LMBO! YES! Too funny. I still think the sew-ins have it. They tend to make you question a lil bit more... You're just lovely by the way!
