Re: What did you buy...December 2010?
Well I was trying to avoid buying any hair products since after Christmas I'm putting my hair up for awhile but I discovered my mother lovesmy kinky curly knot today so I had to get me a new bottle and get her some as well. Ok so I didn't stop there I got some products from Oyin can't remember what I got I know its a shame but I'm a beast when it comes to online shopping!!!!

Okay-this will be my last purchase for December and for awhile!
I just ordered from Texas Natural and Supply (use code TNS10) for 10% off order if anyone is interested.
I got Aloe Butter, Avocado Butter, and Unrefined Neem Oil. That is it!!!!! I'm not going to buy anything else, I need to use what I have and stop looking at everyones great purchases *geez that felt good to get out, but I'm scared I'm going to fall weak again* hangs head low*

Re: What did you buy...December 2010?
Wow, thank you for the link yacoomba! I knew that there had to be some
great natural stores around Texas. I'm not far from Austin and that's my next destination to find natural remedies for my hair, skin, and body.

Re: What did you buy...December 2010?
@Fleur- ur welcome, I saw where someone mentioned they used them before and I googled for the discount/promotional code and it worked. The shipping which I think should be less was a bit high $12), but I've looked at ordered from other sites that require a minimum of $20-25 before they even check you out and decided this was okay being I wasn't forced to add extra things in my cart I didn't want just to satisfy their requirement. I'm in the DFW area so I imagine like you we should get our items fairly quickly once ordered!
I plan on making my own body and hair butters as we don't use store bought lotions anymore, we even started using the SheaMoisture line soaps. I'm like you really conscious about the state of my body and hair now, wanting to use more natural items.

Re: What did you buy...December 2010?
Thanks for that code yacoomba...might have to place an order. I've ordered from them before and their shipping is expensive, but you get your stuff very quickly. Their lemon butter is wonderful!
Re: What did you buy...December 2010?
Ur welcome anything to save a little change :-). See there you go talking about the lemon butter and how wonderful it is-lol *lip twist*. I will have to look into that next time when I finish the ones I have and to add to my list I bought a double pack of Nutiva Coconut Oil off E-bay this evening (that's it for real)LaToya28 wrote:Thanks for that code yacoomba...might have to place an order. I was trying not to buy anything else, but I won a Carol's Daughter giftcard so of course I have to use it.
Re: What did you buy...December 2010?
I haven't bought anything in months until about a week ago. I decided that I had been good and that since it had been so long it was okay. So I was in ross and saw yes to tomatoes- i wanted the cucumber one, but for $3 I can try it too.
And I also got shea moisture curl enhancing smoothie. I heard decent things about it and wanted to try. Also I have been styling and setting my hair recently and realized I have no styling products... or really products periods. So what the heck!
And hair forums are bad for me.. since ive been out of school I have been reading all of theses reviews and looking at all of these products. Now I want them sooooo bad..

Re: What did you buy...December 2010?
Just bought Carol's Daughter Tui Smoothie and Some of Marguerites Magic for 21.95 and free shipping...and I know my products will be here before the week is out.
Re: What did you buy...December 2010?
@ Latoya28 , couple weeks ago I bought some Carol's Daughter (Tui Smoothie and Some of Marguerites Magic) and I did my hair with them....absolutely horrible!!! Hard, dry and brittle. I did double strand with only her products and I was not happy @ all.
I will try again but was not happy @ all ...let me know how u like them.
